Misc Soma-weird reaction

So my Dr gave me 60 350mg SOMA because I was in a bad accident. I took 5 off the bat(not smart) & I was wasted. Anyway @ 3Am my ankle was killing me so I took 3 more. Instead of putting me asleep it was like I was dope sick. I'm on methadone and it felt like kicking. I was punching my couch, my legs were restless, and I was punching my face. You know "kicking." I couldn't sit still, concentrate, nothing. I woke up my bc I couldn't take it. I took 4mgs of klonopin & of course it helped 5 mins away from the clinic. Anyways I didn't understand why I could take 5-feel good & take 3 feeling like shit. I took 4 again this am(stupidity) but no I'll effects just felt drunk. My bf was pissed because I was outta it, but now I feel extremely nauseous. I took one(I'm scared now) and my bf told me SOMA takes opiates outta your system. Can't be true right? Why give it to me. I guess I'll see how it goes tonight, appreciate any input.
 
I have never heard the claim that Soma takes opiates out of your system. I will say that you really need to be careful when taking higher doses of it though.

I have seen non-fatal overdoses of the drug and it's not pretty. One of the first symptoms is shaky hands, followed by 'grimace' and being unable to move. Basically you go from having shaky hands to sitting there unable to move or speak while your mouth is open and you have this really ugly look stuck on your face. I looked it up and it's called an acute dystonic reaction, and if you look that up on YouTube you will see that it's exactly as I described above.

I also read that too much Soma can contribute to Serotonin Syndrome which would surely make you feel bad and take away the positive feelings you would have gotten from the methadone, but I don't think your experience was bad enough to be that so I don't know.

As you see, the possible negative side effects from taking higher doses of soma can easily outweigh the positive effects you feel from taking higher doses of it, so it's best to just use low doses of it with the methadone as they have synergistic effects with one another which makes normal doses of each feel like higher doses of them.

Always research before taking anything.......I've never taken more than 1.5 Somas at once & within a 5 hour period.

Mixing 1 Soma & one 10 mg Vicodin had me floored when I first mixed them.
 
Thanks...I only took one tonight(it's not as bad as last night) but I can't sleep & am having hot/cold flashes. The methadone definitely makes it more potent, because when I thought I had only taken 4, I counted & it's more like 6. Don't remember. Someone told me a recreational dose is like 800mgs(which I surpassed, but I was out like a light by 8am. Not to mention I thought it was Tues. But it's very different than a benzo high(which I like.) I might take one more to try to get some sleep. It's more like a drunk feeling & makes you extremely unsteady. Thanks for the info!��
