Approximately June 2008.

Going back almost a year now, (still feels like it was yesterday though) I had a very rough experience with soma's, suboxone, klonopin, and an unknown anti-depressant.

I wake up as usual and pop anywhere from 8-12 soma's at once knowing I just got my scripts all refilled. I get 120 soma's a month, 60 1mg klonopin a month, 60 8mg suboxone a month, and an anti-depressant which I forget which it was. Anyway, I'm laying around starting to feel the effects of the soma's and I decide to take a few more, then I quickly start going into what my one friend and I call the 'soma coma' which is basically when you're not coherent, kind of slobbering all over yourself, etc... At this point in time I'm now very fucked up, in my own little world kinda deal, and very stubborn because I keep thinking I want to get more fucked up.

Now it gets a little hazy, to this day I don't know why I did what I did, I don't know if it was on purpose or if it was accidental, but I start eating the 100 and odd some soma's I have left, followed by the whole bottle of suboxone, followed by the whole bottle of klonopin, followed by the whole bottle of anti-depressents. Now I'd like to stop here a minute and just let you think this over. I just took over 35,000mg's of soma, 480mg's of suboxone (yes I know it has a ceiling dose but I thought I'd share the amount I took anyway), 60mg's of klonopin, and an unknown amount of an unknown anti-depressant...

Everything goes black and I become unconscious. Lucky me that someone found me, which was my mother. If she hadn't come when she did, I would not be here to be telling this story right now. I wake up a day and a half later in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the hospital, which is where I remain for four days all together under strict surveillance of a nurse at all times because I 'tried to kill myself' and was a harm to myself at this point in time. However I was just amazed I was alive. The whole having someone watch me 24/7 sucked because if I needed to do anything, someone had to be there, if I wanted to go to the bathroom they were there watching. But lucky me had a catheter in so I could piss whenever I wanted freely (God I hate catheters! They are the most uncomfortable things ever).

After four days, and after many visits from 4-6 different doctors/specialists who all told me I should be dead from liver failure/toxicity, or at least, they said, I should be on dialysis for the rest of my life. But no, I was very very lucky and I came out of this a stronger, more experienced person. This was not my first close call with death, I attemped suicide once before, and oddly enough I didn't die then either. I don't know if I have 9 lives or something, but I'm definitely not trying to find out. Let this be a warning to all of you who think taking soma's is no big deal and that taking a couple extra wont do much other than make you sleep, because you're wrong. You can easily go into the 'soma coma' and do things that you normally wouldn't do while sober. I for some reason thought it was okay to take all of medications, all at once. And obviously we know that didn't turn out well.

Hope at least someone learns a lesson from my mistake(s), if they do then all of this will not have been in vein I guess. But then again, I don't feel like I deserve to even be here anymore, I really fucked up big time, and got out of it all once again... luckily.

Lucky you didn't have any alcohol with that.

Wine and soma killed Louie Spicolli the wrestler.

Thanks Charlie, yeah I got off the soma's after that obviously. I've had them a few times since this happened, but i always end up taking too many... soma's and me just don't go well anymore, I always want more and more for some reason. And I know that I'll be really fucked up, but it doesn't stop me I don't know why...
