Soma or DXM for Hydromorphone potentiation

Just wondering what people preferred for potentiation of opiates (in my case, hydromorphone) between either carisoprodol or DXM.

And which dose of either is best for this?

I just took 1.5g of carisoprodol last night. Apart from sedation I didn't notice much from it. It was my third time trying it. Not too sure how rapidly tolerance builds but that may factor in for dosing here.

the reason you might be getting a lack of replies to this is because the answer for a lot of people is "neither." soma is fun with a few beers, but i would never throw part of my opiate buzz away to those fall down pills. and a lot of users wouldn't take DXM for anything but a cough.

Soma for power, DXM for tolerance regulation... Soma for euphoria, DXM for tolerance regulation/ euphoria... IMHO I would use soma for plain Jane abuse with hydro. I would use DXM if I was on pain management.

DXM doesn't potentiate all opioids' analgesic effect. I read a paper that claimed that dextromethorphan will potentiate (mildly) the analgesic effects of morphine and meperidine/pethidine, but has absolutely no effect on codeine. So some opioids will be potentiated by DXM and some will not.

i like DXM for opiate potentiation, can't speak on soma but i would think it would had great synergy

Would recommend about 350 mg Soma or 80 mg DXM. I've done those with hydrocodone, never tried hydromorphone. Adding DXM makes the experience more stimulating, reminded me of oxy. Hydromorphone is much stronger, do you really need a potentiator? The only reason to use a potentiator is if you are close to the APAP limit or your supply is short and you need to make it stretch.

hydromorphone aka dilaudid is stronger than hydrocodone, its like a oxycodone 30mg if you take the 8mg ds..so i would take a soma and a dilaudid...or a xanax and a d
