Solution Popping In Spoon

I've been trying to shoot opana ER. A buddy of mine used to remove the coating, shave some off, mix with alcohol, filter through a cotton then put it in a different spoon, then light it on fire. He would the take the residue and mix it with water and IV it with great success. However, I know by burning the alcohol you're destroying some of the opana. So I figured I'd try to evaporate the alcohol by holding a lighter under the spoon. However, nearly every time I do this the mix ends up popping and going everywhere and I waste my opana. Does anyone have any tips on doing this so that my solution doesn't pop like that? Thanks in advance!

Never heat a solution that contains your active drug and inactive cuts; heating the solution will dissolve inactive cuts into your final solution which will then precipitate, possibly in your blood. Wherever they precipitate, they will be in your final solution and will end up in you. If you must use alcohol, you have one choice:

You have to let the alcohol evaporate naturally unless you find a way to accelerate the process with less direct heat, like a steam bath. If you choose to use heat at all you will have to, without fail, cool down the solution to preferably near freezing before filtering. This will help avoid dissolved cuts. Of course, raise final solution to near room temperature before administering.

Also, I do not advocate shooting any form of pill without a micron filter, nor do I know of the efficacity or safety of your extraction technique.

Thank you for the reply! I actually though about letting the alcohol evaporate by itself so I set some out last night and it has evaporated! I don't have a micron filter but I'm getting on suboxone after this pill and I've only shot up probably 30ish times so I doubt I'll have serious health problems from it. Thank you though!!!

Thanks for the advice! What I did was take my shaved opana, mix it well with 91% ISO alcohol, draw it in a rig through a cotton, put it in another spoon and let the alcohol evaporate (I set it next to a radiant heater to speed it up) and when it evaporated there was an awesome amount of residue! The solution was clear when I drew it up in the clean rig, and when I shot it holy shit what a rush! It was amazing. I'm still nodding from it lol. Thanks again for the advice!!

Glad everything worked out well. Think about micron filtering though, I know theyre expensive but you cant put a price on your cardiopulmonary health.
