So... I have in my hands an amount of ketamine which has been cut with something. This ketamine also was left out and got wet. I'm currently in the process of drying it out at low heat (80 degrees celcius) in a glass dish in the oven. The resulting product is dry ketamine which is kind of sticky and tastes a little sweet. I'm going to assume it is cut with glucose unless anyone can suggest differently.
I understand that one method of cleaning ketamine is by washing it with toluene.
My questions are:
*Is glucose soluble in toluene?
*What is the solubility of both glucose and ketamine in rubbing alcohol?
*Will the water (which I'm hopefully drying out) effect any attempts at cleaning this stuff up?
Thanks in advance.
