i soon plan on injecting benzos - specifically brotizolam and alprazolam - after dissolving them in a prop glycol solution. in the past i just dissolved the benzos in pure prop glycol, ran the solution through a cigarette filter and shot away. however i've been reading up and pure prop glycol doesn't seem like the safest thing to inject so i plan on making a solution out of medicinal grade 96% ethanol, propylene glycol and sterile NaCl solution after micron filtering it.
so i wanted to know how much prop glycol i'd actually need to fully dissolve 1mg alprazolem. infos on other benzos would also be nice too.
thanks in advance.

i know that. i couldn't find any benzyl alcohol on sale nor bacteriostatic water. so i plan on adding about 20% ethanol to the solutions i make, since some of them will be rather large so the ethanol is only added as a preservative

Bacteria can grow in ethanol, producing acid. Check out this article:

The best is to use many sterilizing methods at a time. If you only rely on ethanol, bacteria may grow in it, but if you wear gloves, work in a fumehood, clean the counter with acetic acid, and use a bacteriostatic in the glycol, you greatly reduce the chance. Like, if you got great sterilization techniques, you might not even need to use ethanol at all. Don't neglect sterilization.

When you go to the pharmacy and order oxycodone, the pills are bacteria free and yet, they contain no alcohol so...

Like, you can't put very agressive agents in the shit you inject, but you can use sulfuric acid to sterilize the counter you work on...you get the point.

i thought that ethanol would be sufficient to stop the growth of bacteria and medicinal grade ethanol is widely available while benzyl alcohol is not. however, the injection ampules of diazepam, while containing 20% ethanol, also contain 2% benzyl alcohol. the bottles i ordered and plan to use are sterile medicinal flasks, and i intend to sterilize with boiling water after each use. in the absence on benzyl alcohol do you have and tips how to keep the solution bacteria-free?
isopronanol is also widely available, but that was not something i intended to inject.

Sterilization + sealing techniques. Inspire yourself from industry.

Lorazepam for injection in amps (Temesta) is benzylalcohol (21 mg/ml), propyleenglycol and macrogol.

It's for IV use. I'm pretty sure the other ingredient is bacteriostatic water.

You need to further produce it to make it sterile (using a sterile filter), maybe cooking the amps.
I'm pretty sure you will find recipes on the internet.

Don't forget if you crush up pills for IV'ing you inject some the pill fillers too, if you just going to mix i with water and use a cigarette filter.

well after a bit more research i found out that you can buy benzyl alcohol in pharmacies so i guess the issue is settled.
i've recently had a lung infection that i'm sure was at least partly caused by IVing subutex. after going through the second pill i started coughing blood, so after that i started plugging them. i was still admitted to the hospital with a fever of 41° celsius (107 fahrenheit for you americans) a day later and a severe lung infection and a localized infection in my right arm that i must have gotten earlier shooting morphine pills that they mistook for an abcsess at first so they told me they'd have to amputate it. after a night of IV antibiotics where i was scared shitless and was already thinking of ways to kill myself lying in the ICU the swelling had gone down and i was told they wouldn't amputate it.
needless to say, all of that scared the everliving shit out of me. and since i'm trying to live healthier all around - i recently quit drinking after years of alcoholism - i decided that it was high time i change my IV habits.

I am totally with Captain Heroin.. Shooting benzo's isn't a good idea unless you have the pharmacutical grade IV solution. Be safe.
