Hi, first time poster here, long time lurker. Hopefully you can help.

My friend bought mephedrone off a local dealer, 3 grams. My friend knows this isn't exactly pure stuff as its street level but has taken it numerous times before. (Just after it became illegal)

Now, My friend took around 1 gram of this over a few hours, nasally and through bombing.

My friends heart is racing, around 140bpm and it has been for the past 4/5 hours. (My friend hasn't taken anything since that)

Now, My friend has also got the dreaded blue knees.

My friend has taken some valium to try and subside the high heart rate and lower the blood pressure. (8mg)

Now, the real question is, what is it that my friend has taken? In light of this episode my friendhas ordered some eztest kits but just so you know, my friend didn't experiance any of the euphoria, haven't had any gurning. Or any empathy/closeness with those around her like is so reminiscent of the many other times my friend has taken it. My friend has just felt jittery and awake.

To note: My friend hasn't taken anything else, other than valium. Has been 5 months or so since My friend has taken this substance.

My friend is thinking it could be ephedrine?

My friend has just tested her bpm and its still at 140.

It should also be noted that the day prior to this session she went to a doctor and had her heart/bp checked and they were both in the "perfect, healthy" range.

I'm sorry but we don't allow substance ID, it leads to nothing more than useless speculation. If you want to know what it is, send it to a lab for gas chromatography / multiple spectrum analysis.

If your friend needs help, take them to a hospital.
