Soda Dispenser angst

Ive already searched everywhere to no avail and i'm not sure if this appropriate or the right place for it but here it goes...

I bought a Soda Dispenser from an Op shop the other day and tried to load a n20 cannister into the place with the little metal stick and seal but the protecter on the bulb doesn't break, and it doesnt seem to go in very easily. Someone told me that it should screw in or something and that C02 dispenser's dont work?

Is there an easy way to put it in or am I missing something?
 
The only ones I have seen work have a long plastic cap that fits over the bulb and cracks the seal as it is screwed down.

I have never seen one of these successfully crack a nang so I don't know how they work..

Also you want the "cream" bulbs not the "soda". They are often made by the same company.
 
The product in the top pic has a filter in the second screw on attachment. I could never get them to send one to Australia.

Ive seen them on display at op shops/second hand shops before and always go in for a look. But evey time its happened they've always been the type in the bottom pick without the screw thing which makes it useless for our purposes.

Better to not buy a second hand one anyway tbh. I always get worried when I see people using really old ones. I've never seen any break but when it happens I'd assume it would be rather spectacular and potentially VERY dangerous for any trippers in the vacinity.

An exploding nang machine would have the same effect as a grenade I would think, flying shrapnel everywhere going every which direction. If your sucking on it at the time I shudder to think of what the end result might look like 8o
 
Damn dude, dint just try to jam it in like that! You're dealing with compressed air here. Many things could and would happen like if you somehow had the strength to hold it in place, you would burn freeze the crap out of your hand. But most probably take off like a bullet. The screw on holders are needed to do it and it is hard as he'll to findone at an op shop with one. I asked why once and was told they get stolen.

I recently picked up a glass one covered in chain mail from a garage sale. Very cheap ad even came with the original manual, although it was in German. Check out some garage sales though, they're everywhere!
 
Nangs are crap. Stick to poppers (the proper ones). They are ten times better and more convenient.

They won't shoot out like a bullet. When I was 12 we used to scratch them on the concrete to open the cannisters then aim the N20 stream at our mouths while our hands and mouths froze. I don't recommend doing that.
 
Yeah, don't muck around with them, i have a scar on my gut from were i recieved a nice burn from trying to crack bulbs the wrong way. My skin was literally like plastic when it happened. :\

Buy a secondhand whip cream dispenser or spritzer, or buy a new one from a kitchen shop, they are not very expensive for the commercial grade ones and they last forever. I've got one i bought in 2001 and it still works fine.


Also, don't do poppers, shit is bad.

What does that have to do with anything? Both are inhalants but the similarities end there.

The effects of nangs are completely different to poppers, apples and oranges. I find nangs to be far more fun than poppers (though I've only had shitty Aussie poppers, 'Amyl Nitrate' I think?).

IMO they're both pretty crap on their own, but I've had alot of fun with psychedelics and nangs.

I don't know about the N2O ones, but when I was a kid we used to use the CO2 cannisters as little rockets; pop them with a nail and then throw them. :D

Ew, I am not a fan of poppers. I have used them a couple of times on LSD and MDMA, and they can make it really intense for a minute but feel dirty and give me headaches.

It's actually nitrite, but whenever I have seen them mentioned in movies and books they are always called nitrate for some reason.

I have never seen amyl nitrite here in Australia, only isobutyl or isopropyl nitrite and whatever else they sometimes use. Apparently amyl nitrite has less side effects then the nitrites with a shorter chain, at least according to some of the members of OD.
 
lol i've had a few 'bullet' nangs happen to me before on acid using a homemade cracker out of plumbing fittings, one nang narrowly missing my friends new LCD tv screen scary shit ~_~ ended up damaging the plaster wall behind it though, so yeah make sure all the gas has escaped before pulling the nang out, otherwise it will shoot out like a rocket
