I don't see that as being odd at all.

Have you maybe misunderstood this? As in, he doesn't want people where he lives to know that he's a mod on a drugs forum, as oppose to people on here knowing that you've met him.

If I said "I met chinup yesterday" folk on here are hardly gonna go "oh what? She's a mod on a drugs forum? That must be why she is on a drugs forum with moderator under her name, I would never have guessed" whereas if I was to meet someone & tell other people that know him I met Davie Smith (made up name) the other day & he's a mod on a drugs forum, that would be different.

Yeah man, I went out with him in Warsaw (to the notorious piekarnia) and got wankered on ridiculously good mojitos. Cracking bloke with an fantastic amount to say for himself..

This thread had brought back an enormous amount of good memories. I feel all warm and nostalgic and fuzzy inside. Though I have a feeling most of meetings with you guys usually ended up with me eating too much acid. Still fun though ^_^

As i mentioned if it wasn't for his reaching out to me i might not be on this forum today, i feel really privilleged to have met Dave as so many of you who probably have knewn him longer and better than i did never got the chance unfortunatley.:(

I've met a total of zero people, huttah. I'm not one for mass internet meetups but there are a handful of you who I'd like to meet in person, alongside someone who I can no longer meet, who would have made that handful for sure.
