sober life sucks. tips?

What do you do? Or what was the last job you had (if you aren't working right now). Can you wait tables? Stock shelves at a grocery store? Volunteer at a food pantry? If you can't focus on that enough, then you still need to carry on with the sleep, eat, hobby routine.

Im not working right now my last job was working in construction but thats hard as fuck to do when ur dope sick

I live in the same area....for me, its the Meth I've been trying to quit. I've cut back this last week, opened up more (not all the way) to my husband who depsises the shit. When we met we were onNeth and quit together. It was pretty easy that time cuz I loved him more than the dope.
I still do!!!! I've been battling this for what feels like forever.... First time I tried Meth I was 14....
I'm now 38. Longest time clean was almost 6 years...and I accomplished so much.
I want that again.....

I understand where u are coming from i truly loved a guy who hated my drug use and that got me clean..for a week. As much as u want to quit for somone else u just cant at least i couldn't it needed to be my own choice for myself. I also started using drugs very very young i was olny 12. Feel free to PM me anytime
