So who likes benzos? El Benzo Threado Spectacularrrr 2nd Edition

well I'm stoked today. went to the doctor and was presribed 25 5mg valium. After I went to the pharmacy and I checked the package, they had given me 50 tablets by mistake. fuck yeah!=D

Now I just have to exercise some self control.

I was recently prescribed oxazepam (25 X 15mg) as I have anxiety issues when it comes to flying (leaving for Germany soon). Obviously I don't need all 25 of them so I thought I'd give a go at using them in a recreational manner.

I have NO experience with benzodiazepines. As this is a first time dose what would you guys recommend? The only experience I have with depressants is codeine. (CWE - The highest dose I've done with that was 250mg).

Would it be a good idea to perhaps double drop them - 30mgs?

Would it be recommended to mix them with perhaps a cone or two?

Just trying to gage an understanding here… Feedback is MUCH appreciated.

Thanks people.

With no benzo tolerance you could easily find yourself knocked out with 30mg. I would just see how you go with 15mg first. Also be aware of the slow onset (up to an hour or more). You can get caught out redosing when you think you aren't at the level you want to be and suddenly it's sleepy times for you.

Rofl, I had the EXACT same thing happen to me back in July, but the doctor only actually prescribed 5.

really? And if they do what are the repecussions?

Depends on how quickly they catch it. If they do it in time to realize who they gave the extra too they will probably just let you know, but in a busy pharmacy it's probably rare they would narrow it down.

Did you have repeats on your script?

nah, just a one of script. i wasn't even aware they could do repeats on valium. It is a busy pharmacy, so I'm sure they won't notice.

I remember when I was on daily dispensing for valium when I had an addiction and was kicking it. The girl initiately gave me way to many, and I thought I was in luck. but then next time she realised her mistake and didn't give me any for a few days. Fortunately, I was committed to quitting, so it didn't matter.

The current lot I got for a bit festival for comedowns and incase I have a bad trip. I had a bit of a binge on them last night, but will be taking it easy from now on (maybe take them a few times a week). Benzo withdrawal is something I never want to experience again.

Just a quick question to those in the know: I remember reading here that people who were once addicted to benzos can quickly develop their addiction again if they recommence taking them compared to people who have never been addicted. What is the time frame for this?

Also can addiction to valium occur if you have a few days off in between, and say only use between 20-40mg in a day?

They can, but I think it may vary from state to state. I think the states can put their own restrictions on certain drugs, and benzodiazepines is one of them. I'll ask a pharmacist tomorrow if you like. :)

If it's a busy pharmacy, then good for you. :D

It is true, and it's the same for opioids as well. There isn't really a time frame, it probably varies for everyone. For me, a week and a half of using daily or so can give me mild WD's again.

Diazepam has a long half-life, so you need a longer break with it then with shorter half-life drugs. Once a week maybe? If you've been addicted before, you need to be careful... like I have to be with opioids.

I've been role playing for my visit to the Doctor next week, taken me over 3 months to get the balls to book it...

I love benzos they are AMAZZING :-) I'm comin off off bupe after 2 years and my last drop to 1 mg had me stressed.IVe been wanting benzos for about 2 weeks so I was having attacks all day and couldn't even find 1 benzo than a buddy sais 2mg xanax bars are around I was likee oo thankssssss you than another person called having 1;g klonopin I was a happy camper I needed it also fount some soma he he bless you alll peaaceee

took 0.75mg of Xanax (supposedly same as 30mg of Valium)

and it hardly does anything to me. Are these conversion tables correct?

If I had taken 30mg of valium I'd be a mess but now i feel almost normal....like after 6mg of valium....IT IS SOOOO WEIRD!!!!

iv done a fuckload of xanax and i have noticed MASSIVE potency variation between batches and brands, so that might play a role..

Fucking A. Split a quart bar-tab of Alprazolam, pop that shit under my tongue, feel nothing, same as Diazepam 10 mg or even 15 mg.

0.5mg? Wondering why it didnt work? If ur using it for recreation (altho i wouldnt say its recreational) but id suggest taking slightly bit more if u have a bit of tolerance. 2mg is nice for someone who has no tolerance. I usually have 4-5 bars at once thesedays as it doesnt effect me as much as it used to. Ahhh good old days where id feel liek im drunk n wobble on my feet just off 2mg bar haha

oh yeah, and we at bluelight know how rational the law is :)
BTW, as i said, im speaking from experience. many others agree with me (not the kiddies you generally find here, people who have been taking them since they were largely unheard of in aus)
