i do like valium.

I hardly ever get hold it these days, but i remember the first time i ever ate one before i went to sleep after a massive meth binge....and then waking up the next morning and having no comedown whatsoever, effectively having the uppers canceled out of my system :D
it was bliss.

Xanax i find a bit too strong, but if I want to sleep i'm not overly fussy. I've had those big, fat orange temazepam before... got pretty airy off them lol. mainly just pop them when i'm coming down, as to take them regularly or recreationally would just put me to sleep anwyay.

That said I'm pretty sure there's a fair few Aussies who enjoy their benzos!!!! I know of many myself.
 
Love benzos for comedowns, xanax FTW. Never really got into using them recreationally, could never find a good balance between messed up and black out.
 
Yeah I do like my benzos when required. Usually on the tail end of other drugs. I fall asleep easy on any downers though, so if I drink with them it's messy for an hour or two then lights out.

Mitrazapam are great for knocking yourself out.
 
Yeah I love my benzos! Mainly take valium (diazepam) but I would have to agree that xanax (alprazolam) is the best. I don't mind some temazepam or clonazepam. Would love to try some Hypnodorm (flunitrazepam).

I take benzo's a lot these days just chilling at home, usually with a few drinks, it is hard not to go overboard with them and knock yourself out so I don't take them too often when I go out anymore.

I have noticed there isn't much of a pharm culture in general in Australia when compared to other countries, particularly the US. Benzos and pharmaceutical opiates are the bomb.

Yeah I use Xanax.

But I use them for sleeping on Sunday nights when Im still too wired to sleep normally. Work like a treat, although I think if I have them too close to amps or mdma it gives me a bit of a fucked up sleep. Still, sleep is sleep and Im not complaining.
 
I dont know anyone into pharms. I have tried xanax and hypnodorm a couple of times. Hypnodorm was way too strong for me, i fell asleep on my front steps mumbling on the mobile, was there for 4 hours before i woke up and stumbled to bed, slept for 16 hours...lol...
 
i love my clonazepam, not for recreation though. I mainly use them for sleeping due to their long half life after a meth binge.

Other than that, i love my xanax bars and the occasional valium is nice to chill on :). They are more recreational than clonazepam IMO.

I can't live without them really they are very handy. I do try not to overuse them though and have so far avoided withdrawals\addiction.
 
Yeah, I love(ed) benzos. Tried lots of different forms but mainly used Valium and Xanax (god those 2mg bars were awesome). They worked absolute miracles for stim comedowns, anxious moments etc, but eventually after probably 2 years of simply gaining pleasure and relief from them, only using when I needed I found myself addicted and using daily.

The problem with benzos once your addicted is that they completely lose their magic and taking more doesn't work. So you find yourself eating pills all day without gaining any remotely good feeling, your just keeping the withdrawals away. And let me tell you, the withdrawals are extremely horrible to go through. I ended up needing medical help to get off them but since then I haven't taken any in 4 months.

Keep your use to when you only need them and it's all good though. To the OP, I only say all this because you sound like me while I was taking benzos before becoming addicted.
 
I've never really got into benzos, they're too hard to source in my area. But when I've got my hands on Valium i didn't really rate them that high it was either nothing or blackout, maybe I just didn't find that sweet dose, however they were great for coming down after being up for 2-3 days on the gear would knock me out quick smart.
 
I love valium at about 40mg, I dont see why doctors prescrible 5-10mg doses coz even when I didnt have a tolerance that did pretty much nothing. But valium has the nicest feel of any benzo imo and last the longest out of most of them.

Now xanax seems to be the only benzo around and its good for coming down, sleeping/anxiety(though anti-histamines do the job just the same for me) or potentiating opiates/staying mentally fine while smoking weed but its not really that recreational on its own IMO. Temaz is ok too but I and most others seem to need a lot, like half a bottle to get anything out of it. Ive had midazolam at the dentist and I cant remember it and I think I had clonazepam once and cant remember it.

Benzo's are good every now and then but they arent really one of my favourite drugs and once you become dependant which I am thankfully not the WD's are really fucking bad, and can be deadly if you use enough for long enough which is usually a long time but ive known people to have seizures from stopping abruptly so they are drugs to use with caution.
 
I'm a fan of them if I'm coming down from speed or pills, otherwise I'm fairly ambivelant towards benzos. I've never had any real euphoria from them, I just feel tired and maybe slightly relaxed.
 
ive tried xanax twice with weed and tamazepam once for sleep after LSD (at about +10 hours, done tripping but still awake) and i rate them as ok- great for getting to sleep but i dont like 'fighting them' and staying awake- they just make me feel weird and time goes by way too quickly.. i have some friends who love them tho so yeah each to their own i guess
 
I love Nitrazepam, always gets me floating but valium tends to just agitate me.
 
I LOVE my benzo's. In the 80's and 90's doctors were more than happy to prescribe benzo's, but in the last decade they are becoming very wary of people wanting them. I still take them regularly, but not like I used to. Now I take Valium and Ativan. I used to get prescribed Valium, Mogadon, Normison, serepax and Rohypnol, all from the one doctor!! But be careful, they are a bitch to quit once you have a habit. I tapered down my dose to as little as 1mg of Valium twice a day, and still had shocking withdrawals.
 
I've used valium a few times for comedowns. It's really nice, you don't give a fuck (no more excessive negative introspective or scattedness), you feel relaxed and you can sleep. However, for comedowns I am more likely to use stilnox to get to sleep these days as it is more available to me.
Valium was a god send for travel on uncomfortable buses around SE Asia. In Laos and Cambodia you can buy 10 10mg valium over the counter for less than a chocolate bar in Aus!
