Stimulants So what's up with all these other non-meth amphs?

It's really bad to be IVing period, but IVing pharmaceutical stimulants that contain shit like talc and silicon.... terrible idea. You'd have to micron filter and even then it wouldn't be 100% safe, as IV never is.
 
im sure they are. i really should get them just have no credit cards so that makes it more difficult i guess i could use paypal i bet one website at least will support that...
i never really thought about it since i dont shoot pills. well i did like once but by no means regularly.
i wonder how much crap it would really take out, the bigger stuff gets pulled by the cotton since i dont use heat...not necessary for the white stuff i get id likely wind up burning my h more than anythin else

Somewhere i heard that dextro and levo methamphetamine have incredible synergy, is this true? cause id love to try that with desoxyn if it is.
 
I disagree, racemic P2P methamphetamine is not any better than pure dextromethamp (desoxyn, and pseudo derived dextromethamp). It makes you WAY more tweaked out, but in a bad way like inability to sleep and extreme body load for me.
 
So I'm assuming that someone with a dexedrine script could smoke shit tons of meth and it would show up as the same shit if someone examined their blood?

Also I have never done meth or desoxyn. Meth is alot stronger than these pharms so if your going for a good high you've got it.

I never liked dexedrine for some reason. IME adderall is the best for getting high, vyvanse is the most effective for ADD symptoms (which I have). Ritalin will make you feel good for an hour or two but be ready for the crash its hell for such a shitty high. And ritalin is terrible for add.
 
yeah ritalin and focalin actually exacerbate my ADD symptoms.
thats interesting that you like adderall better than dex to get high, maybe its cause adderall feels more like a dirty street drug than a pharm, whereas dexedrine is more of a smooth stimulation.
 
^it's the 2 other amp salts in adderall (levoamp aside, aka vvyanese), that result in that "dirty" feeling.
2-FMA beats d-amp hands down.

I'd rather use it over methamphetamine as well.

I have a friend that tried smoking it in a pizzo yesterday, and he said it worked great.

I prefer 2-FMA orally, for work/study mode, over dextroamphetamine.

I get no noticeable crash from it either, and can sleep just fine each night, unlike dex.
 
Some people like that PNS "tweaky" feeling, to dance or to stay up late. That's why Adderall is preferred over Dexedrine in some recreational users, especially ones with a low amphetamine tolerance, meaning that they can feel significant CNS stimulation and euphoria from only 20-30mg Adderall.

Meth users, on the other hand, need a good 60-70mg to get high off Dexedrine. That much D-amp in an Adderall preparation (80-100mg Adderall) would mean too much Levoamphetamine, leading to too many side effects.

2-FMA beats dexedrine hands down in this. Nice clarification on the reason for l-amp in Adderall's formulation. I forgot what the other 2 amp salts are in it. I think they're in it to make it even harder to abuse, as some people actually enjoy l-amp.

well either way, im gonna try using the vicks inhaler on desoxyn, just to compare the two different effects, with and without levomethamphetamine

Are you sure about that? I thought that METH was much more effective at releasing monoamine release & hence a lot more potent/toxic than an equivalent dose of AMPH?

Levoamphetamine is a crappy perhipheral stimulant, it will simply make your body more tweaked out. Compare taking a shitload of pseudoephedrine - it's not going to make you feel any nicer really.

As far as I know dextroamphetamine salts are preferred in the pharma industry (even Adderall is only like 25% levoamphetamine) - Dexedrine & Desoxyn are both dextro-. The RC amp salts are all racemic as far as I know though.

There are several RC amphetamines out there -
2-FA = 2-fluoroamphetamine
2-FMA = 2-fluoromethamphetamine
3-FA = 3-fluoro-amp
3-FMA = 3-fluoro-methamp
4-FA = 4-fluoro-amp
4-FMA = 4-fluoro-methamphetamine

the 4-and 2- substituents have been most studied. 2-fluoro substitutions keep the compounds resembling amphetamine, 4-substituents block 4-hydroxylation in the liver & also increase serotonin release bringing the compound closer to MDMA.
 
I was told dexedrine and desoxyn were equipotent by three psychiatrists. I have done my own research and honestly, my research ended up confusing me even more. I do believe that when doing a dosage conversion between dexedrine and desoxyn that usually the dose is equal, but I'm the only person I've ever met who's been prescribed desoxyn.

From a chemical standpoint it certainly is more euphoric, but whether is this due to higher potency, or something else? I really don't know. So you think it's more potent? I've always thought it was like 1-1.5x stronger but this is from experience, not from any cited research.

I'm not sure about this, but I think I remember it having something to do with serotonergic action - which is far greater with methamphetamine. Also, because of the methyl group, methamphetamine crosses the blood-brain barrier more rapidly, leading to a more pronounced immediate euphoric effect.

Indeed it doesn't - I wasn't saying it did, although maybe it wasn't clear. I tried to explain the fact that one seems to be more euphoric despite equal potency.
