never heard of nrg-1?
Do you have any idea what the main constituant is? If it is a substituted cathinone, we can pretty much already rule out that its illegal.
Do the people responsible for this product say it's main ingredient anywhere? Or is this like the new neo-dove... I mean idealistically, and i speak about this in my thread on drug synergy with legal substances - people will endeavour to create new drugs that resemble MDMA in nature, so far as 5-HT2x agonism, and neglect any physical side effects it may have on the body.
I've been very pro-mephedrone for its euphoriant properties, but respect that there is danger to it - and know those dangers and those risks and have weighed out the pros and cons and how to do it correctly.
Perhaps, provided this isn't like bk-pmma or something horrid something simmilar will resolve from all this.
Okay now i just quoted this

Okay so I emailed a vendor asking what the active chemical was in this new product known as Energy-1 or NRG-1 and they have now released the that the active ingredient is O-2482 also known as Naphthylpyrovalerone or Naphyrone. Despire claiming that product is 99.5% pure it states that said chemical is the main active compound which I dont really understand.
If this is the case, i had never been much interested in MDPV or pyrovalerone stimulants in general - it might hit it big... the whole ivory wave thing (which i never even heard about once til the news) blew over fast.
They're marketing it as "naphyrone" obviously a take off on the novel names of mephedrone/methylone (the -one suffix is quite valid given the iupac names) and in saying this i note that "mephedr-one" the start of the name has nothing to do with the chemical thus why we all called it 4mmc. I'd also note that the iupac name of these newish substances really does not warrant a suffix of 'one' to sell the drug other than the sling it as the new thing.
Anyway i've spent 15 minutes writing this rant, coz i have nothing better to do and cant seem to sleep properly and keep waking up and ungodly hours. i'll leave it there... lets see if we can't bring up some discussion on this compound (trip reports anyone).
I might go so far as to add in this link
http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120671 as the information provided within seems to point out generally (and im just looking at the molecule here) that the drug would be substanically simmilar by our laws to pyrovalerone and thus, is already fricken illegal before it's even hit the shelf.
I'd like our analogues act to be removed as it is really a rubbish act, and doesn't leave any room for HR other than to use our channels for prohibition, instead of thorough investigation, sure bio-assay (however dangerous, these willing individuals form the basis for our notes on NEGATIVE side effects, as well as positives) and lighten the fuck up until people REALLY start dying - and no not the media saying x ripped his penis off.. or "meow meow" turns you into a cat. Mephedrone has seens a speight of 'deaths' arrise from it's use in the UK only, and i think two other places before it. Yet there is little to no toxicology data available to substanciate the claims (from what i've read there has been in 2-3 cases worldwide). Hardly enough as a cause for concern.
The concern here is kids buying the shit from the local milkbar and heading to school high as kites (as young kids like to do). Which initself gives rise to the whole idea of RESTRICT SALE TO 18-21+. But no, people use this for nothing more than getting high, so we axe it. Hell RU486 abortion pills killed people... yet thats okay, its an acceptable risk with 92% success rate, i'd say use of RCs has a much higher than .01% average of users dying, and maybe <5% complaining of side effects, until far deeper in their use.
