Heroin so, my poor nose hair vanished in one session

honestly, what the hell? picked up two buns, did one, felt an unusually strong burning sensation... and when I say unusually strong I mean STRONG. I found that the drips would also burn my throat.

to get around that I snorted thin long lines slowly so it wouldn't shoot down my throat... although that gave me initial relief.. hours later (and currently) my throat began to hurt, and it was a strange pain I've never experienced before... it felt like the inside of my throat hurt. currently, it hurts to swallow... although it's not too bad now.

just brushed my teeth and could easily tell in the mirror that the hairs in my nose are gone; i was completely shocked. I've never experienced such a thing. when I put my finger up there to check what was goin' on, I found that virtually all my nose hair was gone.

How did this happen? It's obviously something it's cut with... right? what could it be?

I have a bun left... how can I avoid this next time? what can I do to prevent the burning?

any help would be MUCH appreciated....


and please, pour out some liquor for my lost nose hairs.
 
It could have been that there was an excessive amount of acetic acid.

I couldn't tell you anything more besides this, and beyond this, I am sure your nose hair will grow back.

To be honest, as people buy nose hair trimming devices and all, I am wondering why you aren't happier without nose hair? Nonetheless I don't believe it's actually all that important.

It isn't good that it's stinging your nose abnormally more so than normal, this is bad as it is a sign something isn't suitable for snorting. As a harm reduction measure, I wouldn't snort any more of this batch, and I would just use it orally or give it to someone else who wouldn't mind using it.
 
do you know what I could do to avoid the burning? perhaps how I could clean it up?

If it is indeed too much acetic acid, adding a base to the powder would help balance out the pH. However, if it's not overly acidic, adding a base will only encourage an unpleasant sensation.

I wouldn't really know what to do. Do you have pH strips? You could test the pH of the dope and perhaps this would shed some light on why it is like that?

I like to trim my nose hair before I rip into a bundle, but a bundle that would get me high and take care of the nose hair thing would save me a lot of time. lol

Honestly, I've never heard of anything like this before. I've taken some strong dope up my nose before that would burn a little bit or that, strangely, would numb my mouth, but my nose hairs have always survived. I would try to stay away from dope that takes out my nose hairs.

+1 Maybe he could sell it to a pharmaceutical company as a 'get fun and get rid of your nose hair' at the same time solution. ;)
