My dad has overstayed his visa, well for about 8+ years but hes not declared, just been reading up its actaully better to just go admit, rather than get caught if im right?

8 years! Fuck that's taking the piss a bit, bit stupid as well seeing as all you need to do is go to the border every month and cross it then go back across into Thailand to get a new visa. It's a tenner a day (for every day over stayed) fine up to a certain point where it gets capped. If he can't pay the money he'll go to jail. If he gets caught by the police and they see he's been there illegally for 8 years, he'll either have to pay a massive bribe or go to jail.

He just decided to stay after a long stay and a new wife, built himself a mansion right out the way in some mad forest after he sold his company, pretty sure its easy to get out of thailand though, think hes splashed all his cash already though so doubt hed pay, wasnt able to make it back for his dads funereal so doubt it

If he gets caught and can't / won't pay then he'll go to jail, simple. Last night was crazy and I don't like most of what happened, bad fucking news man. Robbed by the polis, urinating on religious shrines (accidentally), waking up with what turned out to be a hooker in my bed. And my hangover is fucking brutal. ARGH!

^ Not cool about the shrine but you obviously know that. Give some money to charity or spend a few days doing voluntary work or something, regain some karmic balance and ease your concience a bit.

Yeah I thought I was just pissing into some trees / a bush. Didn't realise that it was a buddhist shrine. It wasn't some major religious site or anything, just one of these little 'houses' set up outside the 7/11. Still, fucked up.
The polis robbed me of 40 quid, consider that my donation. Cunts like. Not sure why they stopped our taxi and searched us though, bizzare. Thankfully the immodium I had in my wallet distracted them and they didn't find the half viagra sitting in there, reckon they would have tried to use it as a means to bribe me.
