Misc So is the wellbutrim seizure thing something to worry about?

I guess you guys have piqued my interest to maybe try this since my kratom experiments are a fail. The search must go on.

It is now between 2-fa and wellbutrim for what i try next for the drug to blast me out my pit of inertia. I figure that the prescription stuff would be a safer bet if I can manage to pluck up the courage to see my doctor. Will be a couple of weeks still since the world shuts down due to this stupid irrational holiday tradition, but i can be 'lining my ducks in a row' in the meantime.

The seizure thing is the only thing that worries me. Presumably no1 here has experienced them? since you mostly sing this drug's praises?
 
None here I've taken up to 600mg. I'd say go for 150-300mg, the seizure risk there is nearly nothing in a normal person.
 
I have a good friend that had a seizure on wellbutrin, but they weren't sure if it was that or the benzo withdrawal she was having. Either way, be careful.
 
I was on it for a couple years and I have to say it helped my depression tremendously. But I did have a seizure. It happened when I was on a 300mg dose. If you can start out low as possible I would see how it goes. I honestly don't think I felt much of a difference between 150mg and 300mg. After that I went on Lexapro which has been for me the best of the bunch (although not quite as stimulating as Wellbutrin).

It wasn't one or the other, it was both of them combined. Never take anything that's gonna make you more prone to seizures during benzo withdrawal.

And were you taking any other drugs which could have contributed to that or just the wellbutrim
 
^Berdo tm1 - No I wasn't taking anything else. My sister takes Wellbutrin and she has never had a problem.
