So I'm terrible at introductions but hi, I guess. I'm a nineteen-year-old trans man living in Orlando. I go by Alex online. I've been lowkey messing around with drugs on and off since my eighteenth birthday, but I ended up homeless back in June of last year when my family and I cut ties, and it was around then that I relatively quickly went from popping pills to coke to heroin and meth. I'm a washed-up writer and author, I like 90s punk and hip hop, and if I ever get my shit together and get my GED then I'd like to go to college for ASL interpretation.

It's nice to be here. I just wish I'd found out about this forum sooner; it would seem that I'm extremely ill-informed because I've been looking for a community like this for ages.

Hi @goaskalex.

I know what homelessness is like, too. It was when I was homeless that I first tried meth and heroin - meth now being my DOC. Do you have any desire to stop using? No judgement here. BL has plenty of resources for both active users and people in recovery.

I hope you can get what you need out of BL. And welcome to Bluelight!

Hey Alex, welcome aboard :) What kind of things do you like to write about?

Im reaching out to you because I too was homeless and I too do not see myself quitting anytime soon. I hope you're able to find some peace of mind Alex! In the mean time, fuck it lets get fucked up

Homeless from beginning about 2 years since I originally joined to, except for a year and a half, ten years until my last time in prison. That started @ age 25 and am 37 now. A member all that time.

Welcome, hope that you learn as much as I have in the time you spend here. My tenure here is teenaged! If it's that much a pull for your attention span then add it to your addictions and be happy it can't land you a penitentiary term :) (unless something really off kilter starts going on)
