Hi Forum Yeti's,

Wishing you good tidings on this Eve of Mass.

But, how does one become a 'Webmaster'?

I own a network of sites, but do not earn money from them. THAT is what a Webmaster does.

So, how do I start earning free money for little to no work what-so-ever?

I want to sit back and grin, and watch the money roll right in...so to speak.

So, how do I start earning off a Website?

It seems from your post, that you want to do affiliate sales via internet marketing.

try forums like warriorforum, it's a community built around making money from your websites, advertising online, etc. It's right up your alley.

Wow. Little to no work? Yeah right... sever issues, website maintenance, content and more are all responsibilities of a webmaster. Are you even qualified? You should know html, php, css, being familiar with networking would be a bonus (as in CCNA, CCNP...ect). To be a solo webmaster you should also be good with pretty much all of adobe's products.

Basically to run a website expect to put in ALOT of time and effort. You will make money by having ads which pay you based on views. Many quality sites set up ad deals with companies who won't advertise at sites who use ad sense.

I am sorry but if you are asking this question you are not experienced enough. Go and get a few (as in ALOT) of books and study for a year. Go out and download or p2p a few programs (to code, for multimedia, website construction ect) and learn to use them. You will earn when people want to keep coming back for more.

I have known very talented people not be able to run a site simply because they didn't get an audience. Find a niche and also read up on SEO techniques but don't make that the dominant attraction if you want to build a loyal base of viewers. Finally, goodluck!
