To be straight forward, I have never tried X in my life, I have quite a few social circles, and one of my closest ones everybody does it. I've always wanted to try Ecstasy for about 2 years now (I'm 18) but I'm scared and need some advice :).

The only drugs I ever tried was alcohol and marijuana. Alcohol, I love, never experienced any physical problems with, but as for weed, well, every time I do it I get anxiety and rapid heart beat. I smoke weed atleast once a week, I get pretty high but it always starts off with the anxiety and the rapid heart beat, and I've come to think that I naturally have a rapid heart beat. I'm a cross country runner and run 5-7 miles a day so maybe that has to do a lot with it?

Anywho, I really want to try MDMA for the first time, most of my friends want me to have my first roll with them but the reason I am afraid is because of my anxiety/rapid heart beat. I don't take any medication for anxiety (I pretty much only experience it when smoking weed). Is it safe to say that I should go and try rolling for my first time? Your advice is GREATLY appreciated, thanks! :)

P.S. I'm a male, 18 years old, around 5'8" 145 lbs. Very healthy other than that rapid heart beat.

lol do it

My first time was me and my friend and we literally had no friends that had done it. No one at our school did it or anything like that. But I got some and we popped it... super nervous and scared,
but...

we loved it(:

I think you should be fine. The experience is WAY different then being stoned, it actually takes away my your fears if your in a safe environment. I was nervous the first time I tried it. Trust me though once it hits you your going to be exposed to a whole new world, and its very beautiful and very worth it.

Just be safe, drink water when your thirsty, and remember you should only roll once a month so your serotonin has time to build up.

Well I consider my self a person who suffers from anxiety and my 1 and only weed trip turned out to be a night from hell. Deja vue, tachycardia, an impending sense that I was going to die. With Ecstasy, once I start to feel it, all my troubles in the world are gone. The anxiety comes after I swallow that pill.. I get that feeling that I lost control and there is nothing I can do to stop it, but trust me once you start feeling the pleasure you forget all about that. Rolling with other people who roll and keep your mind off of it will do you wonders.

I am also an avid runner and really the better in shape you are, the slower your heartbeat should be, but that doesn't apply to everyone. As long as you are medically fit and have no underlying issues and you get real MDMA, you will have the best night of your life.

Thanks, my plan is to try it for the first time at a rave coming up this weekend. I plan on rolling every 2-3 months ( I've done alot of researching and see that 60-90 days is more optimal)

But as for my heart beat, since its "naturally" faster, do you think I'd experience any problems there? And should I take half a bean first?

You may have anxiety issues, so it's difficult to say whether a drug will be safe for you or not. I get anxiety after drinking, partially due to alcohol withdrawal, and anxiety with marijuana depending what I smoke.

I'm fine with MDMA though, I just keep an eye on my heart rate and keep benzos (xanax) handy.

.

actually when you are in shape your heart should beat slower than someone out of shape.

and go for it. make sure you get good pills and you'll have a good time.

Test!

I remember before I tried it I was super nervous and really wanted to know everything there was to know about ecstasy and stuff but really, just grab your balls and go.

However I think the best way to take the actuals ecstasy would be to cut the pill or pills in half and swallow them with OJ.
Cutting them in half increases the surface area of the pill being absorbed.
Its not as intense as chewing them but better then just swallowing whole.

My first time smoking weed is pretty much the same as yours. Tachycardia to the maximum lol, and I was so close to dialing 911 because I honestly thought I was going to die. Light headedness, dizziness, numbness, memory loss, zoning out of "reality" and back in, goddam I was fucked up and scared and ever since then I've had anxiety. And like you said about the anxiety AFTER you swallow, I'm pretty sure I will experience the same. When I smoke weed, I usually experience the anxiety right before and after I take the first hit. And my heart beat is naturally faster and I know that an avid runner's heart is supposed to beat slower (because there hearts are stronger) so this has always startled me. Thanks again, and I'm hoping I'll end up with the same experience as yours, (anxiety free :D)

Test!

I've read a few threads where people mentioned testing the pills. How can I test them?

Nobody can tell you it will be ok for you. Nobody can tell you that you should do it or not.

That said, a lot of people get anxiety smoking weed and none at all on mdma. I personally have never had even a moment of anxiety on ecstasy. I have (rarely) experienced moments of paranoia on weed.

As far as the rapid heartbeat, it would be beyond stupid to tell you it's ok. However, a lot of people who are not in good enough shape to run cross country do ecstasy all the time and survive.

Bottom line is: if you want to - do it. If you don't - don't. And I seriously don't mean to sound as harsh as this came off reading back over it. It's just really your decision and you shouldn't do it unless you're totally ready.

This. You'll feel your heartrate come up, but instead of feeling anxiety, you'll feel extremely happy and hyper. You'll want to dance your ass off.

You'll be fine :) Just stick with your experienced friends and a guarantee you'll have a blast. There is something inherently special about giving someone their first roll. I would bet your friends are going to have just as much fun guiding you along your first roll as you will be having.

Ahh this all sounds exciting, I just got off the phone with a friend thats gonna provide me with the roll for this first time this weekend. I guess, to be honest, my anxiety is mostly gonna come from being afraid of dying from MDMA. I don't know if I sound stupid saying that, but I HAVE read about people dying their first times. :/

yeah but if you're not an idiot, youll be fine
trust me, its about impossible to actually take too much
or at least .5g of molly didnt kill me, or even give me a bad comedown lol
i felt a bit dumber the next day till i got some sleep tho lol

I would never want anyone to do something they weren't ready for, but I will say this. MDMA is a very comfortable drug. My favorite thing about it is how easy the ride is so to speak. You do not need to manage it at all, in fact you wont be thinking about anything but how awesome you feel. You wont notice your heartbeat at all. I always tell my friends who are interested in it that if you can deal with being drunk, you can deal with MDMA. It's a lot easier. There is nothing scary about it at all, and the best part is that you will feel very clear headed and aware of your surroundings, unlike being really drunk.

This is all, of course, if it real MDMA, so get a test kit and make sure what you are taking is real and you will be golden. It's nothing like weed or alcohol. It has its own unique high and it's pretty hard to put into words what it feels like exactly but it will take your breathe away.

Thanks for all the help! :)
I can't really say that I'm "not" ready for it, because I feel like I am. The only thing holding, and the only only, is the fear of having my heart beat rush too fast and possibly being sent to the hospital. If it weren't for that, I'd be rolling quite often to be honest.

I can honestly say your going to be fine. I have partied with many people in my short life, I grew up around a dad who whenever he over did meth he thought he needed to go to the hospital. In the end all the people I know who has rolled loves it and has truly never had a bad experience.

Just take half a pill, don't stress about it, and enjoy the experience.

How can I test the pill? They're red and have a monkey logo on it. And there are also green ones (Orlando, FL)
