So I brought my test kit to a festival

I brought a test kit to Paradiso this weekend and a few friends stopped by and I offered to test their drugs. The group camping next to us saw what was going on and wanted to try out the test kit too.

What I saw horrified me.

Out of 15 different batches of molly (all of which was sold from "a good guy who wouldn't sell fake shit") only three turned black. The rest were red yellow or green.

People had no idea that they were dangerously close to ingesting garbage. If we want to see the end of people dying at every festival we have to do as much as we can to encourage and educate people to follow HR.

Yes, scary. I recently got a test kit and the first molly I tested turned out to be pmma/pma! Second molly was actually methylone. I let my good friend / dealer know so he dropped both those contacts and found a new one.

Today he comes by with a new sample to test, as he was looking hard for a proper connect and got linked to a supposed big time source. This stuff instantly turned purple/black. Yay! On a 120mg dose right now, it's so chill compared to previous "molly" experiences of mine before the test kit. Maybe outta 10-15 previous experiences , only 2-3 felt like this. So the rest was bunk, probably methylone . So happy I got a test kit 8-)

Right on man. Good for you and what a perfect place to do it at. You can test alot of product and people take notice of it too. And hopefully people take notice of what you found. That is some real bullshit what other people will do just for a buck. Greedy fucks.

Maybe some people saw what you were doing and decide to do that themselves. Great idea. We need more people like you out there. Your really practicing harm reduction.

cause europe it seems people actually know what MDMA is and shit
guarantee you half the people at parties/festivals dont even know what MDMA is but they like to do "molly"

I think the main issue is dealers don't know about testing and grab shut they truly believe is fire mdma and sell it as such. The problem is RC's are becoming more known and actual suppliers are selling shit they order online that is methylone/mephedrone/apbs as mdma to dumb dealers.

I read this study showing back in like 2005-2009 or something, 90% of confiscated "Molly" btw the dea was actually mdma and 10% was methylone or other shit. In 2013, 90% of confiscated "Molly" was methylone or some other shit, and only 10% was actually mdma.

Every scumbag wants easy money and most people aren't knowledgable enough to realize they are getting bunk. I think people actually think testing ur shit makes u a druggy or something, like there is a stigma attached ! In reality, not testing ur shit and consuming all sorts of potentially deadly shit being passed off as mdma makes u the real pathetic drug user!

I would say its much more than half...probably around 75%
 
Nice work. We need people at festivals distributing test kits, spreading knowledge and testing drugs. If people keep it up, hopefully more people will get the message and shady dealers/supplier will decrease.

I went to a festival and was trying to spread knowledge and kits. It seems i ran into two types of people for the most part.
1. The people that had one, know someone that had one, or were using one. These people were gald what I was doing.
2. People that took no interest in one. They claimed their drugs were good and they trusted their supplier. A couple people even made the comment they dont need a test kit as they use their tongue and nose to test.
 
I hope (American) society realizes the importance of HR and allows non profits to set up a testing tent at festivals and raves. It would save lives.

Unfortunately when someone dies at a festival the reaction is always "those dumb kids killing themselves."

or if the kid wasn't dumb...it was the poisonous evil ecstasy killing them


with our additude about drugs, testing centers will never be allowed. because that means that taking pure drugs in the right dosage is ok, and its not, it causes death, brain damage and retardation

Anyways to the OP: good work. That's actually a great idea to try out at this summers' festivals. HR and a good conversation starter all rolled into one =D I am not in the least bit surprised about the results though. I would be if it was at a festival over here, but hearing the reports about the quality of MDMA in the US I am not surprised, sadly...
 
yeah it's really sad, i doubt half the pills around here contain real MDMA, and i wonder if i have (having never tested anything) actually tried real MDMA

people are very uneducated about it too, popping 10s of pills in one single night... wtf

after reading all those long-term comedown stories around here i'm staying the fuck away from ecstasy until i get myself a test kit. such a shame
 
I haven't done MDMA in awhile and I am clean now. But back in the late 90s and early 2000s we always sought out "Molecule" or "Molly" at shows/on tour because we knew it was going to be MDMA. Pressed Pills had the terrible reputation at that point. But if you had molly it was good. It might have been a bit cut with Vit B but it was good.

I honestly believe that people should be allowed to test their drugs at a festival and that security should only do something against dealers.
I would go even further and say all drugs should be legalized.

Over here it's the other way around. Crystal-form MDMA is not to be trusted (of course you never trust anything or anyone when it comes to drugs), pills are almost always high purity, non-adulturated and potent Dutch bangers. You should be able to rely on the quality of all forms of ecstasy but sadly this is never true :( ah well at least I can be glad I can find high quality MDMA over here easily, I really feel for people living in the US or some other highly contaminated market. Let's hope one day things change, as this situation is not maintainable, it is causing so much suffering to an otherwise mostly harmless community

The thing is if you know the right people there is a ton of good crystal mdma running around my region of the US.

It's more of an indictment of the ignorance of so many people who love "teh molleyz."

I don't know if I saved people's lives but I definitely stopped someone from taking meth. He was with his wife and has previously ended up in a hospital at a differebt festival (he is a reckless idiot who didn't even want to test his shit until I pressed him).

The look his wife gave him when I explained that his "legit molly from his good buddy" was probably meth was priceless.
 
If people stopped buying all of the fake mess...sales would dry up and the true MDMA would dominate. It is the old rule of supply and demand. If the buyers demanded only the best...the suppliers would have to sell only the best.
 
The problem is, I think, that a lot of new users or generally uninformed ones really think they are getting MDMA. "I feel something, some tension inside of me, I MUST be rolling!"

If everyone got some real MDMA for their first time and remembered how that felt, combined with actually testing their stuff EVERY time, I think the fake market would collapse. But as long as you have kiddies buying methylone and other chemicals by the truckload, thinking they have scored the real deal, this circus will keep on spinning...
