SNRI and MDMA

Ok the jist of the story is this. I work with an older dude in his mid 40's and hes never done MDMA only MDA but that was ages ago. :edit: and he could give it a go but something told me i should ask him if hes on any anti-depressants and he is, namely effexor which turns out to be an SNRI. So my question to you guys is this. Will rolling on an SNRI be a bad idea like it would with an SSRI or do they go off different receptors. Id love to see this guy give it a go because hes pretty cool and i told him i would ask around and see if it would be a good idea.

SNRI's are serotonin AND norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. These are 2 chemicals out of three that MDMA affects. So no, if anything I would say this is worse because it hits on two chemicals instead of one.

So what would be a recommended way for him to do this. just stop taking em for a couple days?

Damn, id really like to have him get the full effect but i dont wanna just load him up with a bunch of mints if its not going to do him any good.

As for the falling off after the fact i would feel bad putting him through that, hes had a tough life (recently out of prison) and hes working to just stay on a steady plane and enjoy life the best he can. Ill talk to him maybe find some more info about his dosages and what not and report back tmrw with hopefully some good information.
