Snow

the snows came and I didn't notice them
they took away the mountains
they took away the sky
they entered me into a long night, a blizzard
and I didn't notice them
they took away my sword
they took away my hands
they took away my eyes
they took away my shoes and my hat
what they left
my memory
words, i guess, although i can't tell you the words they took
they took my hair
they took the wind
they folded my skin
and took my love
and hollowed her
and burned her skin
they took my teeth
they took my meat and my bones
took my symbols and rendered them
took my blood and turned it to rubber
the snows came and took away the tops of the mountains



I think this one is just about being sad. Melodramatically so.
