Snow cones

So last night I tried my first snow cone (oxycodone). I've taken oxycodone with marijuana, alcohol and sleeping agents before, but after I had this snow cone I felt a significant increase in heart rate, a warm buzzing on the back of my skull, and a pain in the right side of my chest. The high was quite enjoyable, I felt like I was in a blu ray movie, but I've heard shit like snow cones causes brain damage and such. I'm just wondering is this a normal side effect of hitting snow cones.
 
First you say snowcone = oxycodone, but then you talk about hitting snowcones and brain damage. Can you clarify a bit and remove the slang so this is more understandable?
 
Snowcones can be pretty much anything depending on who you hang around with. So going on anecdotal evidence online about brain damage caused by snowcones (do they even mention what they were using?) won't get you far.
 
The OP is presumably talking about smoking a bong of weed laced with oxycodone. If this is the case, OP, then no, you won't get brain damage, although smoking pills isn't very good for your lungs, and oxycodone is obviously an addictive drug.
 
hmmm...eat or snort(if u can) your oxy friend much bettr then smoking but that is only my opinion..i have smoked the cdn's befor the neo's..and you never see generic oxycodone around only hydromorph.

Yeah weed laced with oxy is what I'm talking about. I noticed the powdered pill became a bubbling black substance as it was being lit and I wasn't sure whether that would cause brain damage at all. Cheers for the info

A snowcone is sprinkling crushed up opiates on top of the weed in a cone.
 
Why would you smoke a pill when that is the least useful ROA overall? Ignorance or stupidity could be the only answer.

Fixed. Of course lots of people know less than seasoned BLers about drugs, and the point of the site is to disseminate that knowledge to those who need it, in this case the OP. You knew less about ROAs when you signed up than you do now, have the courtesy to extend others the same opportunity to learn that you yourself enjoyed.

So, are you saying this whole snowcone thing isn't an ignorance-based folly? Because if you're ruling that out then it only leaves stupidity, as Stevenski was right on the fuckin' money with that post of his that you just broke.

Or are you saying it's rude to call something for what it is? I prefer blunt honesty as opposed to walking on metaphorical eggshells trying not to offend somebody, anybody.


Ignorance is nothing to be ashamed up until the point that a person stops trying to overcome it and basks in his or her lack of knowledge, content where they are with no desire to move onward.

No, you're putting words in my mouth. I said that there is no need to be a cunt to someone asking genuine questions, which there isn't. Stevenski wasn't being helpful, just rude. I'm not sure how things are in your neck of the woods, but where I'm from, calling someone ignorant or stupid is pretty impolite. Of course someone with a question is ignorant, they don't need to be told it. And if you prefer blunt honesty, we should be getting on fine- I thought Stevenski was being a cunt, so I said so. No eggshell-treading from me.

Not trying to be a cunt by any means just pointing out how non sensical it is to smoke pills. If it was a powder or some type of crystal substance sure I can totally understand wanting to smoke it but even a rudimentary search such as "smoking" & "oxy" would divulge a myriad of opinions saying simply "don't fucking do it" & listing a bunch of reasons why there are far safer & better ROA's to use.

Sure I learnt plenty about harm reduction here & I wish I found this site years ago but that is why there are countless megathreads etc to learn from.

BTW in Australia you call your mates cunt & cunts mate so I am happy to be a cunty little cunt cunt.

I should also add that what I said was pretty fucking simple. If you smoke pills you are either ignorant (lacking sufficient knowledge) or stupid (know better but are too dumb to do anything about it). One can be addressed by learning & the other is better to let Darwins law sort the wheat from the chaff.

I can't help but read this in Steve Irwin's (may he rest in peace) voice. This has to be an Aussie saying, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna start saying it around a bunch of Americans.
 
It possibly is mate (or is that cunt). It is a saying that nature has it's own way of sorting things out.
 
Nah, just read that it's biblical. Showed so much promise, too.... I'll be honest, I think I just liked it because I read it with an accent. It loses entertainment value when I read it like an American. :|
 
Just from experience, weed should be learned to be enjoyed purely by itself...I was never really addicted to prescription amphetamines, but when I mixed it in with weed, well, shit...different prescription drug, I know, but all the same. You learn over time that weed is best when it's just weed, dude.
