Snorting Ultram

I did a search and have found no info on this. Are there any benefits from snorting ultram (tramadol)? Is there a big difference betweeen eating them and snorting them?
 
Snorting this substance DOES work, but considering the pain involved and the amount needed, it seems like a unlikely candidate. Also, tramadol takes a while to work, so snorting it wont make it get to your liver much faster (where its converted into the good stuff). If you were to cold water extract it, snortability may increase. Perhaps plugging ultram would be effective, since its highly soluble in water. Someone needs to try smoking this shit, even though it probably wouldnt work.
Ultram seems to be the only quasi-narcotic that is readily available OTC in mexico, and because of this I imagine that its popularity will increase steadily.
 
It hurts like a mother I can tell you that much...It really wasn't that much different than just taking the stuff...Like two pills worth was enough before the inner linings of my nasal cavity felt like they were on fire...Just take about 7 of them and you'll be good...No need to insufflate...
 
I must agree with fairnymph on the pain side, the first time (and last) i snorted it, it felt like my nose was going to burn-up. And like Sovietcontin said i dont think its going to skyrocket to popularity, science its been on the market for so long, at least here in Sweden. And Codein is more fun, if you are going to use weak opiates like tramadol (Found in Ultram, Nobligan,Tradolan and tiparol). And a warning! If you use ssri-medecine (Like Zoloft, prozak etc.) watch out for tramadol, you may go in to epelptic-like seizures and cramps, i dont know why that happends but it hasnt happend to me but to a friend of mine, so be a little careful if you dont have any tolerance.Its also pretty good to have if your going to detox yourself from stronger opiat-like substanses Like Heroin.

Personally I find you get a nicer, moire "drawn out" buzz if you just eat them ... while they have a decent degree of soulabiliy via the mucas membranes, it does hurt a good bit!
The good news - doctors hand thsese out easily and for an opioid novice, you can catch a decent buzz off around 200mg-300mg...
 
If you had a grandson that intelligent, wouldn't you just have to take painkillers to be able to cope?
 
The high from ultram is pretty different than codeine. Tramadol lasts significantly longer, is less sedating, less itching, and doesnt usually have all that annoying tylenol. With stupid 8mg codeine pills, it would take a handfull to get high, with ultram its only a small handfull. I believe tramadol doesnt really affect the kappa and sigma receptors, and only has a slight affinity to the mu (aka the good one), which may possibly explain its low body load.
As I already mentioned, the spasms can be controlled with antispasmodics like soma/depakote etc. This allows one to creep into the high dosage range, which can evolve into a full blown opiod experience.
In mexico (tijuana and rosarito), I saw hydrocodone being sold at 3-6 dollars per (5mg) pill, which is obviously absurd. Oxycontin at $20 for a 20mg was also unappealing. The ultram was being sold at around $30 a bottle, containing 50 pills at 50mg each.
 
My grandmom doesn't take that stuff because she is dead. I would like to think that if she was alive she would take it. But my dad's friends brother takes it...
