snorting the pills...

last thursday night i randomly decided to snort 1/4 of a pill; a ferrari. i had no burning sensation, just a little water in the eye for a minute. on a side note, i did a second line and it tasted/smelled like black licorice. i am now curious if there are any side effects from this method of administration. anything i should look out for, the pros and cons of snorting e pills.
 
Comes on harder and faster. Lasts less time and burns your nose (hence eyes watering).
 
And the next day you might find filler from the pills still stuck in your nose, this is why i never riff pills - it just feels kind of dirty IMO.
 
Come up quicker and the effects don't last as long. I only prefer to sniff pills whenever i'm eaten a couple, just to bring it all back up, a quick line and your buzzing like fuck within 15 minutes.
 
ya it hits you in a wave in like 10-15mins. but is there any nasal cavity damage or sinus effects? or will damage only pertain to long term usage?
 
i snort just for the fun of it, somtime i cut it with sudafed, i dont know why but it hits he harder.

next time i'll remember to have a line while im plateauing (sp?)
 
To tell you the truth I don’t think there has been much research into the side effects of snorting pills (damage to your nose that is) I think the risk are the same as putting anything else up there, my nose was a little more sore then when K goes up there. The direct risk that I can think about are; drying out of the nasal cavity which can lead to cracks, which may cause nose bleeds or just irritation. It may cause problems with you sinus, clogging them and what not… but the main side effect that I can see right off the top of my head irritation on the back of your throat from drips (although the last time that I did it, I had no drips what so ever… just red snot for the rest for the next few days)
 
My nose ALWAYS bleeds when I rail pills. Yuck. Im sure though, like everything else, its person by person. If you have a healthier nose than I, it wont be to bad, but after putting to many things up your nose its no good.
 
I don't know for sure, but isn't there stuff put in pills to keep them compressed, which cant be good for the blood vessels in your nose.
 
A common thing in my area is to snort 1/2 of the pill and to drop the other 1/2 for optimal effects ;).
 
How do you guys snort pills in clubs? Just crush them up before hand? Seems kind of risky cutting it up in the toilets...

If you're on your plateau (after the first pill), how much is a good amount to sniff? (assuming one pill taken orally is enough to get you high)
 
Most people report that 1/2 the original dose after about an hour extends the experience. Any more and you start to end up with significant stimulant side effects - clenching, etc. Any more than a few good pills and you'll just about lose the serotonergic component entirely

aka: "binders" i was reading something about them and the purity level of pills but it didn't mention anything... i should research.
 
I'd be most worried about the insoluble binders, chalks etc. There is an industrial disease called chalk lung that affects people who inhale dust.

Really i would only snort pure powder, or at least keep the amount one snorts to a minimum.
 
Damn it, why snort a 1/4 pill??
Snort the Whole damn pill!! 1/4 doesnt give any effects.... when u snort a whole pill, then you're in heaven... 8o
 
Anybody else feel they have a worse comedown after snorting pills?
I found that most people started snorting pills as they feel the effects waring off after oral administration, kinda gets you back up there peaking for awhile, but the comedown after, from what i've experienced is pretty rough...
