Snorting Subutex

Hi $Sober$ first of all welcome to bluelight?

I'd recommend starting up a new thread to ask a question rather than bumping a two year old thread that doesn't really meet the guidelines of the forum anymore.

Again, welcome aboard, check out the Bluelight User Agreement and the rules for each specific forum before you post in future though :)

Hi Sober,

I made you a new thread :) we encourage people to do that not in BDD so your query doesn't get lost in a big megathread. Take a look at the guidelines in my sig and the "state of BDD" sticky for more info :)

Subutex contains buprenorphine which is an opioid. By "blue" do you mean oxycodone, or Valium/diazepam?

Buprenorphine can be recreational, but it is only a partial opioid agonist (most opioids are full opioid agonists) so it doesn't have quite the same effects. It can vary a lot from person to person. Some people find it very recreational and similar to other opioids, where as others don't get much from it at all. It is important to bear this in mind and not to keep taking more and more if you don't feel a lot. It isn't as euphoric as oxycodone for sure, but it does have the same slightly stimulating feel I find.

It can take a while to reach it's peak (several hours for some people) and it is very long lasting (people on opioid maintenance only take it once a day). What is your opioid tolerance like?

There is a buprenorphine megathread in Other Drugs (in the directory - link at top of forum) here and an opioid conversion chart here - take a look at them.

If you meant diazepam then buprenorphine is a different class of drug - it's an opioid not a benzodiazepine.

Make sure you don't mix it with any other CNS depressants (such as opioids, benzos or alcohol) as this greatly increases your risk of overdosing.

I snorted subutex and not sure what to feel does it feel like a blue?

no. it is a partial agonist.. lacking the required chemistry to work on your brain like heroin or oxyocodne does beinga full agonist.
