I have been taking prescribed subutex for 2 years 2mg twice a day sublingually. I have read and heard that it is more effective when snorted? Is this so and what is the best way to go about it and how much do I do at a time? What is the difference in the effect if any and is there any danger in doing it this way? I would appreciate any answers. Thanks

I found it to be at least twice as effective when snorted. It kicks in alot faster and you can stretch your medication much further. With your tolerance I would try 1 mg twice a day, when snorting it try to use both nostrils for better absorption. Taking it this way always worked best for me when I was on Buprenorphine.
Cool thanks man. It would help the medication bills are killing me. Do you know if snorting affects it in any other way. I mean as in contra indications to other meds. I take 6mg Clozapine at night and 5mg Pax (benzo) a day as well. I can ditch the pax if the subutex is gonna make me happy. I would assume that snorting it doesn't change anything but the way it is absorbed. That would make sense right.

Great I could do with some floating on rubber stars watching the tires go by for sure right about now and after 24 years on the bad stuff I'd rather stick to subutex at least you can actually live a life of some sort. I also have some suboxone I got it cos it was cheaper I can get either. Whats the deal with snorting that? I know its to stop people spiking it but I have never done that so I don't care about it but if I snort that will it give me the heebies or is that purely if you have been using heroin or codeine etc?

Suboxone works great when snorted, it just tastes like oranges.
The nalaxone in suboxone is irrelevant because buprenorphine has a higher affinity for the receptors being used.
So to answer your question, suboxone will not get you sick when you snort it.
It will help in the same way.

well first you want to get generic buprenorphine if you're goonna sniff it coz the size of an 8mg subutex ill is ridiculous... the BA is nearly twice as high... it hits you faster, but doesn't last as long
simple half sublingual other half im taking 16 mg today just cause i went 5 days w/o any forgot them at my cabin ahhhhhhh i was sad i rode my yamahar6 at 3 am 3 hrs away i needed them!ok so illl sub 1 pill and sniff 1 and bam ur set! then benzos!!!!!!
