I have 2mg tabs of subutex and suboxone. I sniffed a little dose to be cautious, at this point I am not as brave/foolish as I once was and am terrified of od ing and it seemed to make me numb and sleepy unlike when I take it sublingually then it usually makes me feel more energetic and happy. I take 2mg when I wake up and then 2mg around lunchtime. Not sure if this is cos I sniffed a small dose. It was about half a mg. I like the way it normally gives me energy and makes me motivated. That really helps me get through my miserable day. If its going to knock me down I cant take it this way as I do need to work. It does give you a nice sleep though very warm and cosy worry free.
I will try more next time maybe the smaller does makes you more sleepy. I know clozapine works that way small doses make it almost impossible to be awake whereas huge doses dont give you this problem as it overloads that part and so you dont get so sleepy.
I was initially on allot of meds, anti depressants, benzos, ap's etc but strangely I found that the subutex works in place of all these so I am on allot less meds now, just the subutex and some pax as needed and 6mg colazapine at night to help me sleep but if the subutex sniffed makes you sleep like that I will take a bit of that and ditch the clozapine. I would like to take as little drugs as possible.
One less med will be great I am already dealing with the consequences of all the years of drug abuse so I am actually trying to just take what I need to be able to get through the day and do what it takes to stay alive without accidentally killing myself.
Does sniffing subutex just knock you out or is it going to feel the same as when taken normally in your experience? As I say I normally feel up and motivated not numb and sleepy.
