Recently I acquired some 8mg/2mg Suboxone Film Strips from a friend of mine who is opiate naive. I have alot of experience with sub tablets and have found that 2mg infufflated of the tablets would put me in a great place for 8 to 12 hours with some nice after effects lasting 24 plus hours. So i proceeded to cut 2mg off of one of the sub film strips and dissolved it in about 40 units of water in a 1cc insuline syringe without the needle. I then tilted my head back and squirted the solution into my nose and waited about 10 mins for it to absorb. With the sub tablets I would feel effects after 30 mins to an hour but with the film strip I started feeling it within 10 mins and within 45 mins I had very intense opiate effects. After an hour I started nodding and the next thing I knew I was nodding heavily for 8 hours straight. Finally fell asleep and slept for 16 hours straight, woke up and ate some food, then slept for another 10 hours. When I finally woke up the final time I still had pinned pupils and still felt the sub big time.
I decided that the film strips must dissolve better in the water solution due to them having less material overall than the tablets do. So I decided to try a much lower dose to see what the effects were like. I waited a few days after my first 2mg film stip experience and tried a quarter of 1mg of film strip. So .250mg of sub film stip dissolved in 20 units of water and squirted up the nose. This time I found the effects started coming on again at 10 mins and by 45 mins I was feeling great overall. Had an amazing buzz and the effects still had me nodding for a few hours before sleeping for 8 to 10 hours and waking up feeling that wonderful glow still.
After taking the .250mg dose I waited a few more days and tried the same amount (as close as I could get since the tablets crumble) of a sub tablet prepared the same way with 20 units of water and snorted the same way as before but had absolutely no effect at all. Never felt any opiate activity from it.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had experience with these sub strips especially snorting them? Also has anyone heard of them being much more potent than the tablets? Thanks for any responses!
