Snorting methylphenidate

I’ve been snorting my methylphenidate daily now for a few weeks . I only snort 20mg a couple of times a day , 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the afternoon.
I started doing this as a wake up with a coffee before work . I thought it would be more like cocaine but it just wakes me up .

How many others do this ?

Fun fact, any time I have snorted methylphenidate I have not stopped snorting until I ran out of methylphenidate. It always felt like just one more line would give me the satisfaction the last one lacked
 
Assuming you mean methylphenidate, I've snorted ethylphenidate which I believe is very similar

Its relatively recreational, nowhere as good as cocaine, but maybe a touch better than regular amphetamine. It's been a while since I've done it so my memory isn't spot on

In the town I grew up in we call this shit magic crystal. In its heyday junkies weren't even doing smack they were all shooting this shit instead, sometimes half a gram at a time.

Wild fuckin times. I remember watching people go at each other in the street with knives in broad daylight 3 times in a week in a town that usually has 0 reported stabbings per month.

The abcesses they got from shooting this shit were so bad that I know junkies there who, to this day, have issues from it. Some 15 odd years on.

I agree , it’s almost as if the anticipation is like have a line of coke
 
youre better of buying some coke than this obscure rc shit

Coke is very bad for you, don't get me wrong, but there hasn't been much research into ethylfenidate
 
snorting pills is unhealthy to many tissues but overall this is not particularly bad habit. Methylphenidate ain't nowhere as addictive as amphetamines and much less neurotoxic, actually I doubt it even is neurotoxic at all in those doses.

I recommend taking breaks every now and then. I don't comment on if you should keep on doing this, but if you are about to do this, you want to avoid escalating doses. Other way to strive for that is using magnesium silicate.

"Magnesium silicate can cause an increase in the absorption of Methylphenidate resulting in an increased serum concentration and potentially a worsening of adverse effects." -drugbank online. Unfortunately content was behind paywall but I could find this in duckduckgo search results. But this is not actually my main point, I just checked that magnesium is not preventing absorption of methylphenidate, as some of the drip will end up to your stomach. Magnesium tends to do decrease bioavailability of amphetamines. And can increase metabolization of amphetamine, but I did not find data if magnesium does that to methylphenidate.

The real benefit is that NMDA-antagonists decrease tolerance growth associated to many drugs. This has not been proven scientifically to apply to magnesium and methylphenidate, but it could be assumed from existing scientific data and anecdotal data. Stimulant use also spends a lot of magnesium in your system, and you want to make sure you won't get depleted.

If you are intending to use methylphenidate this regularly, I advice some other ROA, like oral or rectal route. If the thought does not satisfy you, do yourself a favour and check what ingredients the pills you are snorting are having and try to gather some information how bad they are for your nose and lungs.

I only tried it one. It was some German formulation - a capsule filled with little balls. I don't think I even asked how much was in it which shows I wasn't thinking clearly.

Well, I liked it more than cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, desoxypipradrol, MDPV, methadrone, or fluoromethadrone, pyrovalerone or pyrophenidone.

But then I hated all of the above so it was a low bar.

It's OK but I refused a second and in the decade since, I've not touched it. I've also tried ethylphenidare which I actually liked more as it's more gentle.

But I sensed that for anyone who actually likes stimulants, it could be extremely addictive.

That’s the prolonged release , it’s actually easy to crush the balls with a spoon
 
That's the only formulation we see in the UK. Well, I say 'we see' but in fact I don't know of anyone who HAS seen them...
