Snorting Mehtylphenidate - What Will Happen?

For most people (those without ADHD), snorting methylphenidate is very stimulating. It's considered a recreational "upper" and has effects comparable, broadly, to cocaine or methamphetamine. Mental stimulation, increased energy, euphoria. Many students use it as a study aid, especially to pull all-nighters.
When you say other drugs people use to get high... do you mean pharmaceuticals? benzodiazepines are very popular: Xanax, klonopin, Ativan, etc. These give a sedating high and usually compromise memory and inhibitions as well.

Try going to erowid.org, look in the pharmaceutical section. If you snort methylphenidate, it will enter your blood stream and inhibit the reuptake of dopamine, thus causing a sense of energy and euphoria for a few hours. There's nothing magical about it, just a mild stim.

Well there are a fuck ton of drugs people use to get high and a quick google search will easily give you this info. Specifically if someone where to snort methylphenidate depending on the dose they might get high or just alert. It usually comes on within 5 mins and may make one feel jittery, the comedown is awful though so be prepared to, uhhhh, write about that.

Methlyphenidate is the generic form of Ritalin. You can expect certain effects from basically all stimulants, prescription or otherwise.
Exhilaration/Motivation/Euphoria/Nervousness/Increase in Libido/Tachycardia/Hypertension/Restlessness/Gradiose Thoughts are to be expected from any stimulant. The magnitude of these symptoms is dependent upon the specific substance you're taking as well as the dose.
Insufflating (snorting) any substance is going to cause the effects to come on more quickly.

Just crush it it up as much as you can ,doesn't last as long so swallow one too ,I snorted one with 5mg yohimbe powder from a cap with some booze to drown out the taste drip a few months back ,the Thai version of red bull and whisky.
It's ok.......it's bit like anal sex ,it's more enjoyable that your snorting something for the act rather than the action.
I'm always on klono and have xanax to hand so bollox to comedowns ,I'm allergic , I can't handle a caffeine comedown nowadays,
Pop a OTC anti hestamine CIMETIDINE with it and the rit lasts longer ,learnt that here.....could be placebo but I certainly felt something going on and it beats downing 16 litres of grapefruit juice.
In the absence of benzo's to ease the comedown have 2 beers ,easy ,not a piss-up [party] but that will sort out 10-20mg of Ritalin which has a piss poor HL anyhow :-( .....I never feel the alcohol on stims or tramadol [just speaking from my experience].

Turned out to be a reminder post so I just nose vacuumed 10mg ,not pleasant naturally but not grossly unpleasant unless you snort [sniffh ard uk slang] up hard as if you were clearing your nose back into your throat.
Pity the juries always out on every forum bout doing it with benzo's or their being no benefit as clona is on paper a strong med but sloooooow to work so if it hit you fast it would be a winner.
I read trying the same with tramadol is disgusting + pointless.

shouldn't snort Ritalin pills if that's what you mean, all the binders and fillers of the pill wil go straight to your lungs.;; find another ROA!

Those are pretty small pills to crush and try to snort. How do you guage the dosage at all?
