Snorting LSD?

Keep in mind, I'm talking about snorting an actual tab of LSD, not LSD in liquid form, but an actual tab teared off of a blotter sheet. Also, I guess that leads to something else I just got curious about, how would it work snorting it in other forms, the same as an LSD tab I assume?

the erson who dies snorting LSD snorted a huge amount thinking it was coke or speed. I gotta go look that up on erowid for exact details.

i dont think that would actually work.
I dont think LSD can absorb through the skin wiothout DMSO.
 
Hendrix is indeed reported to have done the sweatband thang... Whether true or not is another matter entirely.

Some folks have also done the eyeball thang. I know cos I was amongst such foolhardiness back in the days when I was enough of a tit to think it hilarious to spike folk's eyeballs whilst they dozed at youthful parties. How they managed to doze at such events is still as incomprehensible as the reasons for (literally) eyeballing LSD are. Or for snorting it for that matter.

Some things really are best dosed orally. Not many things but LSD is one for sure. IV is always a temptation though... but Jammy's post is another reminder that it just don't work like that with acid.

PS: And no, acid doesn't hit any harder or faster dosed intraocularly. Neither does it affect the visuals (beyond the blurriness and giving you a bit of a sore eye anyway). Are there any myths about acid that are actually true?

Delsyd, my friend decided to try it when we all went tripping around three weeks ago.
His eyes were dilated, was chatting alot, and staring at nothingness alot. So I think it works, but it could be placebo(??)
 
I've actually heard about the eye thing - looked it up when I was curious because I know that LSD can be absorbed through the veins, but it's DEFINITELY something I wouldn't do - and although it works, it burns and you're just better off taking it orally.

as much as i agree with this comment his post did resurface an old thought i had...

liquid acid can be absorbed through the eyes (ive heard this anyway not sure if its correct), ive always wanted to try this (or hear from others that have), but the one time i got liquid i was too inexperienced to attempt this, as ive never heard of it done before.

Hey Delsyd, just a random question - to use DMSO as a transporter is there a complex chemical procedure to bind the two chemicals and would said procedure be different depending on the chemical you're wanting to transport?
 
no; DMSO is a solvent. there is not complex chemical procedure to dissolve things in a solvent :)

however by opening microscopic channels in skin DMSO can facilitate the entry of contaminates and viruses into your bloodstream. be sure to cleanse the area first (rubbing alcohol) and also remember that increased temperature will improve delivery of the chemical. other compounds may be used in synergy with the DMSO like menthol which dilates capillaries, increasing blood flow and improving delivery of the drug.
