Opioids Snorting dilaudids

So i know the BA for hydromorphone isn't great but insulfation has worked good always but lately i been smoking Heroin almost every day and its raising my tolerance i think. I snorted 16mg of dilaudid yesterday (is that a lot?) and i was high but not nodding kind of high. And it only lasted 2 or 3 hours max. Any way i can increase the half life?
 
Well, I usually do 10, if I do 12mg I get pretty fucked up. I've never done 16, so it's pretty high.

I'm no expert, but I think the only real way to beat your tolerance is to, y'know, stop for a lil bit.
