Snorting Dilaudid hydromorphone

I was recently switched from Opana to Dilaudid after my surgery as well as other drigs I like to have fun with some of my doses and snort between 8 to 16 mg my dosage is 16mg every 4 hours so my question is to all my fellow users is dilaudid aka hydromorphone safe to snort I know about risk of OD and stuff like that I mean is it as safe as snorting any other drug IE: Oxycodone or Xanax I just wanna make sure there arent any side effects and most importantly it doesn't cause any problems that will hurt me either in the present or the future I wouldn't wanna keep putting something up my nose that might b poison and I know it's a great drug to shoot just not my thing thought I'd mention that I get a good buzz from sniffing even people say it's a waste I jus won't use needles

It's just as safe as snorting any other high powered opiate. I wouldn't snort Xanax and its not an opiate so I won't compare it to that. Just make sure to take the usual safety steps when trying out a new opiate: start low and move up with your dosages.

While hydromorphone is much more effective IV, it is still quite a potent opiate snorted.
 
NeighborhoodThreat is right, its just as safe as snorting any other opiate. No reason to worry. It seems it is almost essential to snort (or IV) hydromorphone because it is so weak orally. I used to snort it until I discovered the needle. And also as NT said, don't snort Xanax. Its a waste
 
Thanx for the help guys that's good to hear and yea I dono why I said Xanax couldnt think of any good examples I had a brain fart lol

No more than taking them orally. But you might end up having complications with your noes, it might start bleeding

Exactly, issues with your nose/sinuses would be what I would worry about. Also, it has been shown that (in some individuals), snorting drugs will increase your suspectability to infections, colds, etc. aside from the direct irritation snorting a powder does to your nasal passages and sinuses.
 
Def I avoid needles I know u can OD by any method but I've lost friends by the needle before and I swore to never use 1
 
Tru i know it happens just hit me hard i guess i meant no offence by it also if u don't mind did u go to jail for drugs or just sobered up in jail and r u still clean or just off needles and how did it feel to OD sometimes I wonder how I know if I OD I know respetpry depression is a big bad 1 but besides that nodding tired dizzy those are all effects u want while being high

I went to jail due to a DUI with possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy). I had a good lawyer and just got 10 days. I was lucky because I was facing 60 days.
 
Also does snorting pills ever hurt the lungs some times afterwards I start weasing But either way does it Hurt The lungs short or long term

yes, you will some powder into your lungs and this is proven to be detrimental over a long period time especially during binges...

same except for the needles :\, i realized snorting apap was god awful and snorting benzos was a complete waste...the only thing i snort at the moment is adderall IR the little orange tablets.. i have some probelms with those

How bad r we talkin on ur lungs and over how long of a period of time with moderate daily snorting of pills no binges though
