Snorting Codeine?

I have taken codeine before but i have never snorted it and i wondered if this was an effective way of gettin the "high" from it? I searched the forums but could not find anything about this. No flames please if this sounds stupid. I just want to know cuz a friend is coming over with 8 codeines (not sure of the dosage).
 
Codiene is water soluble, thus possible to snort, but in most formulations it's combined with exorborant amount of APAP, thus making it at the very least very uncomfortable to snort it, if not blocking out alot of the codiene anyways.

Just swallow it, unless you extracted and have just the codiene, you're far better off just swallowing it.

It has to pass through the liver to be converted into morphine!

If you snort it you'll seriously harm yourself and it could be fatal. It will put fluid on your lungs, I can't remember the actual name for the condition but it seriously bad! Please only take codeine orally or anally (pluged)!!!
 
WOW shit man im glad you informed me of that.. I've snorted hydrocodone's before... is that bad?

i thought you could only get the fluid in your lungs by iv?
 
i forgot about the conversion to morphine, yeah it would do jack shit if you snorted it, I'm not sure about the serious harm, but it would not get you high guaranteed.

im guessing by hydrocodone, you mean vicodin, and if they are vicodin, they contain a lot of APAP and you shouldnt snort them either. just swallow them.
 
When i snorted the hydrocodones (yes vicodin) i was new to the drug game... so i wasnt sure what i was doin but some1 told me to do it with them so i did...
 
Ok well ive just taken the 4 codeines and 2 hydrocodones. There is really no need for this thread to go any further IMO cuz i have already gained the knowledge that was needed. Thank you all for the information that i so very much needed :) .
