So I had a 25 mg doxylamine & 2 10 mg ambiens so I thought it'd be a good time. I railed all of this within the last 15 mins but am not feeling a whole lot right now. does anyone else have experience doing this or scientific data that could enlighten me on maybe what else to expect.

thanks

No. Just no. First off, non-benzodiazepines (ambien) are NON-water soluble so snorting is 100% pointless. And doxylamine is not recreational at all, it's just a good sleeping medication.
The ambien is recreational but don't snort it, just swallow it as it will be more effective.

DON'T snort ambien....from trip reports I've read, it burns like a mofo...and aside from the pain you will feel, it won't increased bioavailability.

Besides, if you were to increase the effect ambien has on you, the only increase you will experience is susceptibility to blacking out. Just swallow it...and ride the wave.

Bio-availability of ambien is way way higher oral, snorted you will have largely diminished the amount of ambien going into your bloodstream (bassically wasted them....)

Doxylamine isn't recreational in general, it's an anti-histaminic with relatively strong hypnotic properties, but no anxiolysis, or relaxation, or chill feel (like "normal" benzos). It may be a chollinergic (like most anti-histamines) so could make you feel shitty at higher doses, maybe delerious, but not like diphenhydramine or dimenhydrinate, more just a bit nutty than "real" delirium, which i find very unpleasant anyway, but some strangely to me enjoy.

Some enjoy to "trip" off ambien aka zolpidem, but you need far higher doses, andd taken orally, for an effective B-A... but it's not my cup of tea as a "trip" from the reports i have read...

Wiki "ambien" for more info, on it's "normal" purpose, to put you to sleep, not stay asleep though as it has a very short half-life...

hope this is informative :)

Snorting Ambien (zolpidem) will get you high. It's a slightly different experience than PO IR Zolpidem as one might expect. Zolpidem hits very quickly even when taken orally, leading many to have these strange sleepwalking/driving/cooking/eating experiences you hear about through word-of-mouth or on the news. When you insufflate this substance, your likelihood of having a negative experience through black-out is increased.

There is no point in insufflating doxylamine. There is no high. It is a deliriant, like many of the other OTC and prescription antihistamines. The fact that is slightly more obscure in clinical use than say Benadryl (diphenhydramine) seems to lend itself to more attempts at abuse. I encourage you to consult erowid or even the trip reports page of this forum if you are considering a """Recreational""" sized dose of any antihistamine. I've yet to see a positive experience reported by anyone who wasn't clearly a jackass.

To reiterate, be very careful with your use of zolpidem, especially if you have ready access to a motor vehicle. You or countless others' lives are at stake.

Unneccessary because Ambiens oral bioavailability is high enough (much higher than nasally) and doxylamine nasally,..? Ok but in which amounts man?!?

I wouldn't recommend that
