Snorting Ambien after oxy

I know I know...Pretty stupid...I have been doing it a couple times a week....I learned snorting the Ambien after snorting oxy ( 80-120 MG ) gives me a good high and helps me sleep.....It burns like hell, but I like it for some odd reason.....

My question is are there side effects or ANYTHING I need to know about that might mess me up in the long run? **note this is not an every day thing**

I would generally take my Ambien before bed with my evening Percocet, pretty much every night. Nothing bad ever came of it. 'Cept I randomly threw up once, but there wasn't any nausea. That was weird, and it only happened once

I don't know much about Ambien, but if you are snorting things daily, your nose will eventually get damaged.
I've been snorting oxy for almost a year (daily) as well as coke off and on for a couple of months and a dent/hole has formed in my septum. It constantly hurts and just plain sucks.
I suggest switching up nostrils daily, or trying to quit snorting all together as it doesn't look like this is going to repair itself.. at least not for a long, long time.

Oh, and I'm comparing coke to ambien due to the burn. Obviously if something is burning your nose it is probably somewhat corrosive to the sensitive tissue inside.

not all things that burn are bad for your nose. Substances that come in salt form generally burn my nose, these don't have binders or fillers that get stored in cavities and go to your lungs. (but really snorting anything regardless isn't good for your membrane tissue).

I'm not sure how ambien compares to other hypnotics that are benzos, but Ambien is a central nervous system depressant.

Obviously you have a tolerance to oxycodone as you can rail 80-120 mg, but mixing two central nervous system depressants can be risky. Just make sure you aren't taking a lot of Ambien or taking the Ambien soon after railing the oxy.

Last thing you would want is respiratory arrest. I'm not sure if its easy to get respiratory arrest from mixing oxy and ambien, but I do know that using multiple central nervous system depressants usually increases the risk of it.

Be careful. ( I could be wrong though)

Edit: Ooops, i forgot you said "I know i know... pretty stupid." I'm sure you are aware of what I posted then.

^On the contrary...Im fairly sure anything that burns cant be good for your nose, as even things that dont burn, such as oxy, are still somewhat corrosive to the membrane tissue

i didnt care to read the original post or anyone elses feedback for that matter but all i have to say is WHY ARE YOU SNORTING AMBIEN?

ok i read the original post and even w/o the ambien yes the fillers in the OC are not good for your nose, for most people on this site they arent bad enough to stop snorting OC's but putting foreign chemicals up your nose is generally not a good idea,

are you gonna die from the fillers in your pills? probably not but that doesnt mean that they arent bad for you

.

This is the second bad piece of advice you have presented as truth today. I ask that if don't know what you are talking about, that you not post. Some people do not think to question advice, so keep that in mind next time you post. Thank you

I used to mix percocet, clonzapam, ambien when i got a big enough tolerance. it was the most amazing feeling for me, but when it turned into an everyday thing i said fuck with it.

also if your railing 80-120mg of oxy, some ambien is the least of your worries.

i know that ambien has a cross tolerance with benzos and works on the GABA receptors the same way. the general rule of thumb is that downer/downer isnt always good when you're going to bed. i've done it numerous times, but looking back on it, it kinda worries me.

not on the contrary. He already said it is damaging to the membrane tissue.
