Snorting after years of IV ?

Yesterday, I was in a small predicament & couldn't get a rig.. so I was forced to snort half a bag just to keep the sickness at bay.
Shortly after snorting, (If you're an IV'er, yep.. you can pretty much guess what happend next) I sneezed my head off. 4 sneezes in a row.
The fuck? I had to hold my nose shut just to be sure I wasn't losing any dope.

Back when I was a snorter, this would NEVER happen. It's so odd.
How come whenever I snort dope now it will make me sneeze my head off?
Fortunately, I got ahold of a rig a few minutes later and shot a bag.. great rush.

But I'm sill confused as to why this happens.. Anyone care to explain?
 
So I should take some benadryl?

This is bullshit, bro. Just snorted another bag, no sneezing... yet. Fuck I wish rigs were easy to get in SNJ
 
Were you dopesick when you snorted the first 1/2 bag? Maybe the sneezing was a symptom of w/d and putting something up your nose made it worse.
 
I snort exclusively, and if I score right on the verge of being dopesick and I snort my first bag, I'll rip off four or five good sneezes in a row. I think it has to do with the w/d's.
 
Sorry, guys.. It has nothing to do with w/d's.. I'll get my daily shot in then go snort a bag & I'll still sneeze like a motherfucker.
Idk.. maybe it's only me.
 
Actually this has happened to me too lately. I stopped shooting about 2 years ago and have taken a few lines since then and I always have trouble not sneezing. I guess my nose just isn't as hardcore anymore as when I was snorting lines of speed everyday. Kind of like when you haven't smoked in a while you easily start coughing on those first hits.
 
Once u have shot dope the body only wants a shot. Not a bump or a line. At least when u first cross over
 
Some of the dope I run into makes me sneeze more than others, but I've had long stretches of shit that will make me sneeze after almost every single line, most be some inactive thats in it. But, I think chelseagirl also has a point, because we all know WD itself makes you sneeze and fucks with your sinuses because I've definitely experienced what she is describing many times where I'll basically be sneezing non-stop after that first line until it starts to kick in, and that tickle in the nose will be almost unbearable. Even if its dope that doesn't generally make me sneeze down the line.
 
I wouldn't even touch my shit without a needle; there's just nothing like it for me. I order boxes of 100 syringes online and I make sure to re-order before I run out.
 
Yeah, normally I wouldn't touch it without a needle either.. but desperate times calls for desperate measures.. I got a rig now so all is good.
Still don't know the answer to my question tho..

I've actually be snorting more often than IV'ing lately. my veins are GONZO! legit, last shots I let off were in my hand/wrist, so I went back to snorting for a bit to give my veins a rest. my arms are filled w/ bubbles, holes, etc.. luckily, I am covered in tattoos and no one can notice anything. it's sad knowing what I did to my own arms, so I am HOPING they can get better if I snort for a bit.

also, when I did snort the other day for the first time in a bit, it did ZERO to start; also, I had to sniff a whole grams rather than my typical half gram shot. well, at first I felt it was a waste, but after about 15-20 minutes I felt just as good as if I blasted off. sure, you DONT get the immediate rush, but you still get a nice buzz. the OTHER problem is that it takes DOUBLE the dosage to snort than to shoot. thats another problem.. but oh well.

btw, I NEVER SNEEZE! not sure what happened to you there.

please send me the site.. and also, whats your fav. pin size? I usually go 1/4 inch, 29 gauge, 50CC.. sometimes ill go half inch but I find 1/4 inch better for my arms/hands, which are my main spots.

I hate walking into CVS or Walgreen or wherever and asking.. I always pretend I am on the phone w/ my "mom" and getting her pins for her own problems. ha. its prob so obvious but hey, it keeps me happy. I TRY to buy heavy and 20 pins at a time so I dont have to go back soon, but sometimes I'll only use a pin once and I am back within a week. other times ill use a pin over and over and over and they may not seem for months.
