Snorted powder deep into nasal cavity behind eye (help?)

Hi. For the first time, I snorted powder from a crushed 30mg roxi (about a quarter of a 30) with so much force, that the powder went up into the sinus cavity BEHIND MY EYE.

It burned real bad just like when you get water up there, and now I feel a pressure behind my eye (sort of like when you have an ocular headache).

I'm a bit worried about this. Fortunately, the pill was a Mallinckrodt brand ("M" boxed / "30" scored) which does not gel and dissolves more quickly than any other roxi, however I'm concerned about any powder being up that far at all.

Is this going to just dissolve away with no ill effects, or is it going to cause lingering problems for my sinus or eye? For obvious reasons I cannot see a doctor about this. Please any info / advice is much appreciated. This happened about 30 minutes ago as a hit submit.
 
Hi blueroxidust.

There shouldn't be any lasting problems. The ideal treatment would be nasal irrigation with an isotonic solution and resting your nasal cavities to minimize any more swelling or irritation. It should go away on its own but the insoluble filler in the pills might remain in your sinuses for a while (hence the flushing). In the future you can try dissolving the pills in solution first which will greatly ease irritation as well as help with absorption.

Just be glad it was Roxi's and not something that had more fillers. You will be alright though, taking a hot shower may help loosen up your sinuses.... Just thinkin' out loud here.
 
I'm sorry this isn't funny, but I am just imagining someone snorting a line and then their eye bulging out all cartoonishly.

I've watched people beast lines before, but god damn son, sucking the powder so hard up your nose that it travels behind your eye. lol

Sorry I couldn't resist adding that picture, but in all seriousness, if intranasal is your preferred ROA you should really be aware of what you're putting up your fart smeller. Binders used to hold the pills together can cause some nasty sinus infections if you're not careful because the powder sometimes just tends to accumulate in your sinus cavity and once its up in there it can be tricky to clean out which is why it's a good idea to try and flush it out with water after each time ;)

I took an E pill while on shrooms, and coughed or some shit like that as the pill was going down my throat and it went up and got stuck in my nose. Im like 90% sure. I was tripping really hard, but I felt it stuck in there and spent like an hour trying to get that shit out. I dont even really think the pill worked.

i didnt even think that was possible. Jus insane. Ive seen ppl drop acid in there tear duct. now thats insane.
