Snorted Adderall and I love it!

For the 1st time yesterday I snorted 40mgs of adderall and i like it. I've been prescribed to it for the past year and never really enthused the idea until lately, due to my usage of mephedrone, so the idea of snorting lightened on me.... my question is since adderall is an amphetamine, is this anything like speed? My friend is about to give me a bunch of 70%pure amphetamine powder and I was wondering if it'll be like this but alootttt better
 
I am just going to paste an excerpt from one of Erowid's pages:

"The basic racemic amphetamine consists of levo- and dextro-amphetamine. l-amphetamine is not considered as "fun" as d-amphetamine. 10 mg Adderall contains:

Dextro-amphetamine Saccharate- 2.5 mg;
Dextro-amphetamine Sulfate(USP)- 2.5 mg;
Racemic-amphetamine Aspartate- 2.5 mg;
Racemic-amphetamine Sulfate- 2.5 mg.

That's a total of 6.3 mg of the straight base amphetamine (excluding the salt weights)."

If you decide to continue snorting your crushed up amphetamine, I highly advise you sparingly do so. When I was first prescribed Dexedrine XR, I would often crush up the beads and insufflate the powder. Consequently, after several months of insufflation abuse, I began to notice that the cartilage in both nostrils was diminishing. I suggest that you just swallow the spansules/tablets; your nose will be ever thankful.
 
70% pure amphetamine is going to be a lot more euphoric than the racemix amphetamine combo of adderall - and bump for not blowing the adderall. I've been through so much shit w/my nose now because of all sorts of pharms I'm almost at the point where I'd just as soon plug everything lol.
 
Shortly after the beginning of my amphetamine use, I plugged ground up Dexedrine IR tablets on several occasions. The effects would begin shortly afterward, and I ended up being pleasantly speedy. <3
 
not to be lame or anything but I 2nd (or 3rd) the suggestion about not snorting. I snorted ADHD meds including adderall for a bunch of months before stopping, and now my nose is completely fucked up - and it's never going to get better. as much fun as it is to snort things (and trust me, I enjoy snorting more than any other ROA), it's not worth it in the end. especially with adderall, considering the bioavailability is equally high, if not higher, went eaten. just my 2 cents
 
Snorting adderall is kinda dumb , as you only get the effects from the instant release portion of the pill . Half of the pill is IR , and the other half is extended release , which only gets broken down in an acidic enviroment, like your stomach. It's called a sodium-ion resin release system.

Not to mention the huge amount of nasty powder, for a maximum of 15mgs of AMP...

Eat it , or plug it. *shrugs*

just chew it up or something. You are still getting the high from it. I don't think you want to be having nose problems. But... it's your choice
 
Adderall doesn't contain any base amphetamine, and BA is about 20% lower orally than insufflated.

I enjoy snorting one 20mg, and swallowing another 20-40mgs of adderall. snorting gives you a good, quick rush, but wears off quickly, especially the euphoria. plus, it does eat up your nose pretty good, so i try to snort in moderation. As an additional warning, NEVER snort up Vyvanse. it might look tempting since it already comes in a fine white powder, but it is a trick. That shit burns so fucking bad it will literally have you in tears. also, don't snort if you have a nosebleed. i snorted 40mg of adderall when i had a slight nosebleed and it almost put me in the ER. I got a lot of amp straight into my system and i damn near collapsed. sweat was pouring off of me and my vision was blurry and fading in and out, not to mention my heart sounded like a vibrator. i eventually settled down, but it was not something i would ever want to do again.
 
^ Maybe you should not snort it because it is a pro-drug and need's to be metobolized by your liver to work? Just maybe. lol

Huh? Half of the instant release Adderall tablet breaks down into extended release??

this is NOT true. IR pills are IR. XR are XR. people get XR confused because there are multiple drugs in adderall XR that are metabolized at different rates. it has NOTHING to do with the coating. crushing adderall XR won't give you more of a rush snorted than if you had just eaten it.
 
Why snort something which is fine orally? Just up the dose for oral intake.
I loved ephedrine(high dose)+caffiene (orally), and i also liked snorting ephedrine hcl 20mg.
Only difference the effect is much faster and shorter. Just up the oral dose :)
