Cocaine Snorted 2g cocaine 3 days ago. Operation tomorrow.

Hi everyone, I went out for my friends birthday on Saturday night knowing that I'm having a small surgical operation tomorrow, (Thursday). I promised myself that I wouldn't take anything due to the surgery and instead would drink a shit load. I did this and got v drunk, so drunk that the thought of a few lines sounded appealing. I ended up having 2gs to myself.

Will I die tomorrow? lol - I'm planning on telling the anaesthetist what happened because i've heard c increases the chance of anaesthesia awareness. This scares me a lot. The biggest problem for me is that i'm only just 18 years old, and if the anaesthetist decides to tell my mother, I think I would rather die on the operating table.

I doubt anything will happen to you its not like your showing up high on blow then having them sedate you. Cocaine has a very short half life and will most likely be cleared from your body if you did it on Saturday then had surgery on Thursday.

But it may be good to tell him just so he knows. Your 18 old enough to make your own decisions and I don't think the doctor will want to run and tell your parents right away. They just want to know what medications you have taken so they can do their job. Medicine has come along way so i wouldn't fear much or worry yourself sick about this.

Ya, Blow doesn't stick around (hence the constant useless re-dosing ) and you won't have shit to worry about.

They don't put you under with cocaine... It's usually fentanyl, nitrous oxide, or hydromorphone. And there isn't any cross tolerance between cocaine and these. Anesthesia awareness does sound horrifying, but it is extremely rare.

I've been put under while in my addiction for spinal surgery without telling them. Pure hell, waking up .. and in withdrawals… asking for extra morphine.

If you don't have a tolerance you should be ok coming out. Although, I would inform them… going in...and drink lots of water… so you are not dehydrated. They should check your vitals, especially your bp. It's important to be stable when going under.

if it was three days ago you'll probably be fine as others said coke doesn't stay in the body for long. it wouldn't hurt telling the doc though,
