Snoo version 6 - Shiny Spring-Summertime Snoo!

Seven words? Hmm...
Literature essentially transcends time, especially in translation.

Actually no that was just the first paragraph. Basically I said that it doesn't seem right to attribute a text to a certain period when we're going to be studying a translation (=re-creation) of it; analysed Beowulf specifically and argued it was a continuation of previously established legends, literature can't be defined as a specific point in time; lots of religion in medieval texts --> do our notions of time really matter when dealing with the eternal?; in itself, literature is above the constraints of time (for obvious reasons, ie we can still today read texts written 1000 years ago) blablablabla

I said a few other things but I can't really remember. And I expect an immediate paragraph applauding my obvious talents please :sus:

My snoo is I just got this incredible job for this summer. I'll be working at a publishing company reading manuscripts, speaking with authors, doing some editing, getting in touch with their various offices around the world...huge huge huge opportunity. I never expected to have so many responsibilities when I applied. Very exciting :D (and mildly terrifying as well)

And also that I did really well on my first end-of-year exam today. Despite over-sleeping, getting there much later than I should have, being in mild WDs and falling asleep at my desk halfway through. So I'm quite happy with that one =D

My snoo is a tiny one: I'm snooful that the smell of cigarettes airs out from my house really easily. I hate the smell of stale smoke, so I usually go outside, but on drugs I chain smoke at my desk. Smelt baaaad last night but after a couple of hours with the windows open it smells nice again!

Also snooful that this thread way really easy to find thanks to knock's excellent "wheres' the xxx thread" sticky. *bumlick*
 
Discovering vibrating razors! Shut up. But seriously I just got one and it is the best razor I've ever ever used. Also being all snugglywarm and watching bunny prance about my room. She goes fucking mental when I let her out, it's great. Will just be sat there then all of a sudden she leaps two foot straight into the air then sets off at an insane pace

edit: Mum just text to say my aunty has gone to be induced, yay new cousin soon! Don't think we even know the sex yet so pretty excited to find out

I have my meds in me so I don't feel like shit and I've just finished the rough draft for the first episode of my screenplay!!! :D :D :D

Regardless - I've written it, the sun is shining, my Pancreas is playing nice and I've not had a drink for a week, and it's not really bothering me!

BF's birthday today so Birthday Snoo's - its funny how somebody else's birthday can put you in a great mood. Best mate's birthday tomorrow and a massive bouquet of flowers winging its way to her so that's her Snoos sorted for the morning.
 
Aye birthday snoos are always great, especially if accompanied by parties :D

My snoo is being at home for a while and spending all yesterday with my best mate's kids. And her, obviously. But I hadn't seen the kids in ages <3
