Yep, everywhere you go everyone tells you they want your job too. Even the fucking GP said that to me today when I took their mail in =D lol, dunno if he'd manage on the drop in salary...

Same here, but ribena not booze, had 6 pints today...

Got to drive to taekwondo later so am resisting the temptation, gin and tonic, and a few bottles of Westons in the fridge, won't be able to start for a couple of hours. :( hey ho, another pint of Ribena instead, Strawberry one, so snooo for strawberry ribena %)

Cup of coffee, pointlessly small dose of phenibut for some time later tonight and no cigs due to lack of baccy here. Comes to something when drug enviez extend to fukkin shitey booze :!

Roll on payday tomorrow. Although "payday" is somewhat of an exaggeration really. Day for handing over money to everycunt and hopefully having enough ferra bottle of Frosty's anyway 8)

I'm sure I have a snoo just waiting around the corner. Wouldn't be a snoo if I could see it coming now would it :D
 
Snoo!

Finally I have enough income to get out of the hole I been stuck in for the past year or so.

Life's gonna begin again at last. <3

Friday shall see the tobacco in the bin and the E-cig taking it's place.
Plus it's warm enough now to hit the beach every day & I have access to a mini mal surfboard.

With any luck it will keep me out of trouble and allow me to save money and eat well, etc.
I also wanna start playing the drums again as food for teh soul.

It's good to hear that things are on the up for you Cornish mate,enjoy yr days down at the beach, sounds great.
My snoo is just that today was a beautiful sunny day and days like this always make me feel happier,the sun is a great mood booster for me, I love it.

My snoo is I just got this incredible job for this summer. I'll be working at a publishing company reading manuscripts, speaking with authors, doing some editing, getting in touch with their various offices around the world...huge huge huge opportunity. I never expected to have so many responsibilities when I applied. Very exciting :D (and mildly terrifying as well)

And also that I did really well on my first end-of-year exam today. Despite over-sleeping, getting there much later than I should have, being in mild WDs and falling asleep at my desk halfway through. So I'm quite happy with that one =D
 
Well done Pagey! Sounds like a tough exam given your circumstances but you did it :D

I'm still waiting for my results, hopefully on Thursday I'll be posting in snoo with good news!
 
Finished 1of 3. This is a very important one so I'm nervous. Should have been ready by now but alas, I need to wait! I have no patience at all haha
 
Yeah they're not all that quick at giving out the results are they? I don't think I get mine til July :|
(although honestly I don't really mind, more time to relax and not think about them!)

Can I ask what you're studying btw?
 
I'm a PA and I want to earn more money so I took a pa/secretary course last year and a legal sec course this year. Just means I'll have two diplomas on my cv validating my 9 year's experience. I'm thinking of doing more add on courses like short-hand etc.

Basically it means my cv has more chance of being read! Job seeking is such an unfair game so I'm trying to separate myself from the pack so to speak!

What are you doing? I know it's something fancy :)
 
Oooh okay. Yeah good initiative, that should definitely help distinguish you! Well as I said, I hope they went well :)

Haha no not particularly fancy, I'm studying English Lit & Philosophy. Not exactly the course with the most career options which is why I'm so relieved about the job this summer!
 
As long as you can show transferable skills any qualification is totally worth having! Go us :)
 
Oh yeah haha, I actually managed to write a whole 3000 words on that...my conclusion basically being that it was a dumb question because there's no such thing as a 'medieval' text :p
 
contraversial. i want to know more, can you summarise it in seven words? i might fall asleep any moment though so don't think me rude if it garners no immediate plaudits.
