Snoo V7 - ah spring, has sprung, a SNOO! (bless you).

I'm still agonising over whether to dye mine.

I've had a 'Mallen streak' all my life, but it seems to have grown somehow. To the point where I've actually been asked whether I dyed it white. There's definitely some more grey in there now though. Far too many hairs to pull out, sadly.
 
I dint notice any grey in your hair. Maybe i could just get the sides shaved off mine, or get them shaved really close, as they are the only bits that grow grey. Although its of no comfort to you im glad im not the only male on here thinking about changing this minor dilemma.

Is there any truth in the 'old wives tale' that episodes of stress and or shock can speed up the greying process do you think?

Not quite! At least not firsthand.

My older sister would take great pleasure in displaying said streak to friends of hers though, and always referred to it as that. Besides, 'poliosis' is far less romantic.

You didn't see the massive white bit right at my forelock? I suppose the light was pretty dim.

Dunno about the stress / shock thing, but I've heard / read loads of anecdotal accounts. Oh, and don't get the sides of your hair shaved off! I'm sure even ponch would agree that dyeing is a better solution.
 
I'd probably have dramatic mallin streaks through my hair which is naturally very dark. The grey comes in in 2 very distinctive lines from my temples. However, that's a distant momentary as I've been colouring and highlighting my hair for a long while, its now quite light which blends in the grey. Costs a lot, but hey ho "I'm worth it" lol ;)

Be careful MDB - I don't want to read about you plugging nice and easy this weekend :D

I've wanted to either shave my head or dye it really pale for a while, but I think that that just leads to being associated with, in the first case, uptight lesbians, and, in the latter case, Tumblr girls. I think I might go for black. I need a big change in my life, and the hair change might help me.

I used to have really pale hair, you have to dye it like, every two days though or it starts to look shite.

I might shave all mine off, tempted at the moment. Not really but it is EXTREMELY annoying, especially in this current weather.

I need a big change in my life, not sure the hair will help though.

Ah on topic for once, I saw on faceybollocks that my high school best friend had her baby girl last night and I feel weirdly happy about that. Cuteness n' tings.

Thank you. My politics have changed a lot lately and I'm about to return to education after an illness break. I'm also asserting myself more, learning that drug use and career success doesn't mean maintaining a double life, and getting some nasty people out of my life. So I guess I am changing.

I'm a fat old man anyway and that hasn't put him off so I think a bit of baldness can only help matters? ;)

Couldnt agree more with this. Short hair looks shit on most girls, and the few it does look nice on would look better with longer hair anyway so yeah. Stupid. Having long hair is admitedly a bit of a pain but I would never have mine shorter now.
