Snoo V7 - ah spring, has sprung, a SNOO! (bless you).

Got a call yesterday from a friend (who doubles as my weed dealer) saying he's out after serving five-and-a-half months at Her Majesty's pleasure.

Looking forward to seeing him later this week!

In (very) vaguely related news, I found the arse end of a rather nice weed spliff somebody left me with recently in my pocket whilst shopwalking earlier. Was but a smidge but am such a fukkin lightweight weedwise these days that it knocked me for six. Must admit I am rather fond of my lightweight status re: weed. If only I could achieve similar with everything else :!

Just found out my sister got accepted into Horse College. Apparently was really tough to get in, and was a group interview in which she had to give a presentation in front of all the other applicants, but she got in! My anti-social, can barely talk to her own family sister got into Horse College. So proud of her, even if she is a dick sometimes <3

It's some place where they either go to train to be olympic horse prancers or do shit like learn veterinary nursing, which is what she'll be doing

Had scan results yesterday and it's good news. Most of my lymph nodes are back to normal size now and the largest mass in my stomach has improved also.
So am in chemotherapy today and should have two more cycles after today and that should be the end of the chemo for me.
Happy man indeed.

Aw man, good news indeed, really happy for ya <3

Just ran (well jogged) 2.8 miles in 33mins. This doesn't sound a lot but my target when I signed up for the Great South Run in October from my hospital bed after my last surgery last year was to add a mile a month til I got to the 10 mile GSR course in October. So I'm basically on track. My secondary goal was 10 minute miles which is less important than just making it around the damn course, but I'll see what I can do about that.

A 3 mile run also tells me to stop smoking so much :(

Indeed, nice one Max. Shall I resurrect the pain thread and repurpose it to a general health, sickness and pain support thread, so we got somewhere to share our stories, good and bad?
