Snoo V7 - ah spring, has sprung, a SNOO! (bless you).

My snoo today is DNM benzo vendors who clearly sample their own wares before shipping. Two identical packages in the post today and the one I ordered isn't even marked as shipped yet.

This isn't even the first time this as happened to me, different vendors, always with the benzos though.

I think what you really mean is, the luckier you have been, the more you ascribed it to your own hard work.

I think the quote really means is that there is no such thing as good luck, but you can engineer it yourself by working hard. Which, whilst clearly not true in every circumstance, hard work is likely to produce more consistent results than pure luck. So keep working, and treat lottery payouts as a windfall... :)

I was born barefoot in a village at the foot of a volcanoe. The only thing I have been gifted are my wits and my charm.

I've been told I was too small, too slow, one of too many attempting the same thing my whole life and yet here I am.

I think I laughed a little too hard at this!!!

Finding ciggies left behind in my taxi home, Getting off of work earlier than thought, having a great day at work and as ever making boy wonder smile. That is always snoo.

i was born pretty much down the road from Otw
Yet. here I am

the ones who have 'found a whole load of ready-made luck.' eg money from parents - more often turn out much worse than those that got almost nothing as children

So true zzz. I myself downgraded in life. Went from a well paid job to doing something I love. TBF it's not as much fun as bartending (which I BLOODY love) I work with amazing people.

Didn't grow up with much money but grew up with a lot of laughter and love. Can't beat that IMO.

I don't actually believe in luck.. I see what we commonly call reality as a program. Bit like the Matrix. Some are able to detach from the program by bringing their mind into the present, The Matrix copies what is experienced in the conscious, present state of mind swiftly..its like a counterfeit.

I don't know why some are able to see and escape it..Grace maybe.

Just realised that the coursework I thought I was going to have to stay up all night doing is actually due in Wednesday not tomorrow. Havent done any of it as I have been a weary emotional mess so glad I can sleep and forget about it for tonight and hopefully feel more positive and motived in the morning and get it out the way.

Huzzah! :)

Just be glad it worked out that way around... I once found a piece of coursework was due a week earlier than I thought. In time thankfully. I thought I was so prepared & organized too... :p

I was and very much am a lucky girl!!! Had the best mum in the world. She taught me to just love life, a morbid sense of humour and to appreciate love.

She made me to turn out to be the perfect puzzle piece.

Perfectly imperfect.

Sadie, what do you mean by your Mum made you the "perfect puzzle piece"?
