yeah that surprise bird house thing was a bit weird. my mum denies all knowledge and she was the prime suspect.
one notable snoo i had recently was offshore. i've had a bad cough when i've been trying to sleep, and one night at about 4 in the morning i had to get dressed and get up cos my coughing must have been waking up my cabin mate in the downstairs bunk. so i went down to the galley (canteen!) and made myself a chocomilk out of the machine. in my bleary eyed state i eventually realised a Smiths song was playing loudly in the kitchen. i was the only person there, all 115 other people were working or sleeping.
that made me really fucking happy, because, well, some of you may have learned of my love for the Smiths. so i sat down to listen to this song, thinking it would be over soon cos it was probably just off some crap compilation... but no, the chef guy was playing the whole album.
that sounds lame as fuck, but it made me really happy and i forgot about my cough. you don't hear the Smiths offshore very often (ever).
