sniffing benzo's

I've only snorted ativan and it's kinda wierd. It kinda feels like it numbs it a little bit. I know they have as high of BA as they can orally so I always eat some too, but I like snorting shit.
 
i don't understand why you would even consider sniffing benzos, most of the time its only 1-2mg active/100mg inactive fillers like talc and other sinus clogging crap
 
Why do you want to snort them when you know the oral bio-availability is higher? There no logic in what you say. Just eat em. The "high" wont be any different other than a slightly faster onset and it will wear off faster. And I say "high" because benzos dont really produce a high, just relaxation.
 
Well, it's just like I said. I always eat the majority of them, but I LIKE SNORTING THINGS. And the high isn't just necessarily about the chemical. A lot of the high in my experiance is in the mind. You can enjoy a certain practice or procedure, or setting, or any number of other factors unrelated to the drug and how much you take and how much is absorbed, and they can play a role in the overall experiance. But that's just my opinion, and it makes perfect sense to me. You do the same thing with psychedelics, and in my opinion anything can be psychedelic to some degree if you have your mind set that way.
 
Yeah, but as was said before, you are snorting a few miligrams of the chem cut with 100 or more miligrams of filler, its a waste. If its all in your head why not eat them and then snort some inert powder?
 
Well even though BA is pretty maxed orally, there is a bit of a difference in the way it feels in the nose than eating it, and I kinda like it. Why are you so concerned with how I prefer to take my drugs? Are you that much of a snob? Or do you really just have nothing better in your life to do?
 
I've been addicted to benzos for years and I will only snort them when I get a batch from a supplier I don't know because they have a distintive taste and feeling when snorted, almost minty but different. I do this because I've gotten counterfit pills before with the correct imprint code on them.
 
Not a snob, and its not that I have nothing better to do, I am a very busy man with many, many meaningful things going on in my life that have nothing to do with drugs. The fact of the matter is, I dont like the wasting of drugs, thats all. Do what you want, do what you feel, as long as it hurts no one and you keep it real. Its just a waste, and do to the fact that you are snorting a non water soluble chem mixed with about a 100 to 1 filler vs. active chem the effect you are getting from snorting is straight up placebo.
Also my point was that THIS HAS BEEN COVERED A MILLION TIMES ON THIS BOARD and instead of asking a redundant, retorical question, why not USTFSE and find out for yourself. If you must snort benzos, get the pure powder, or if you cant, extract the stuff. What you are talking about is comparable to dissolving a few hits of LSD in a gallon of water when you can just drop the hits as they are. Hey, I like to IV opiates (although I dont do it anymore), and its comparable to me Iv'ing some Vicodin just for the sake of Iv'ing. Although that would be more dangerous than sniffing benzos, but I guess you get my point. That is all.
 
man, half the coke you guys are using or powder heroin is like MOSTLY cut. just think of the binders and fillers as "cut"
they do NOT need to be water soluable as the old myth goes, and i feel them just as strongly, actualy a little stronger and definatly a little rush when inssuflated. people also SWEAR by snorting their suboxone, which is a HUGE pill with only a few active mgs.
it Does work.
klonopin is the best to sniff due to how good i tastes, plus it makes it come on faster and makes your nose tingly cold. the temaz 30 mg caps are awesome becasue they poweder is loos they are way fun to snort. and xanax bars. but honestly i dont realyl do this much anymore i just swallow my benzodiazepines. but i DO think z-hypnotics are MUCH better snorted and effects are basicaly instantaneous.

angelus-IM SORRY but its NOT PLACEBO. i guarentee it, if its been covered so many times that your bitching about it you OUGHT to know that the "needing to be water soluable" thing is a myth. it only needs to be that, OR liphid soluable. (which benzos are)
 
I think you're better off looking for the best sublingual benzo. Midazolam has a reputation in terms of buccal use so perhaps thats a good place to start.

I get the clonazepam sublingual tablets and the prescription label specifically says to put them under my tongue. But even regular clonazepam is perfect for SL administration.
 
hey so how does everyone feel on that issue? it SEEMS like everyone who takes kpin takes it sublingual, but i jsut swallow em cause by the time they dissolve in my mouth they woudl have already digested. still they work just fine sublingual but i feel they hit me harder swallowed. however i REALLY like temazepam sublingualed

Im with klowns , klonopin seemed to be the only benzo that had high oral BA that seemed to work intranasally as well . also that wintergreen / spearmint drip rocks ..

there seems to be a general consensus going towards k-pins cause they taste better...

lets have some more... erefyone who does benzo's has snorted at least once to try out...

Flunitrazepam...i've sniffed em before but its shitty compared to oral and pills are never good to sniff.

But the amount of cut present should also be taken into consideration. It's possible that a pill could have so much filler it effectively reduces the BA of intranasal absorption. And that would blow.
