Sniffer dogs laws NSW

Hi everyone,

I seem to remember an epic thread around these parts that dealt with sniffer dog laws. I can't seem to find it any more?

If anyone could point me to it, or better yet, any information about the legality of cavity searches (or perhaps - what the full extent of police searches is) in NSW, it would be appreciated.

This is the thread here Sniffer dogs.

I believe the answer is yes they can but there are conditions on it, they have to have reasonable suspicion that you've committed a crime and it needs to be done at a station or out of public view. Also you have the right to be searched by a member of your own gender... from memory.
